BTW, @90km (self / cheap mineral oil) - May I know the Brand, and How cheap it was??
I got 2 bottles of Top 1 Oil (Imported in India by Rolon Chains) for 250/litre. Actually I could not get a pure and cheap mineral oil, and this oil infact seems to be quiet good.

Just a minor issue as faced by many here - noise from rear disc brake - that too from today morning. Will try to wash it. Managed to keep below 4500 RPM and speed around 45-55. Sometimes reached almost 67 while overtaking. Other Pros - EVERYONE KNOWS. I must say the headlight is great.
Nice pics there! You stay in Kr Puram / Whitefield area?

BTW, try to avoid long distance travel during running in.

Don't worry. Though it's a Synthetic blended oil, it mostly mineral, for the fact it goes bad within 2000kms or so. Moreover Dtsi oil come factory filled in our bikes, nothing much can be done here.

BTW how many of you have seen the radiator fan work? Asking because even after idling a hot engine stand still for 10 mins my radiator fan didn't start. Though with Bangalore's 25degrees it might not spin after all. But almost all Duke owners, have felt the hot air blowing even in Bangalore, how's that 200NS's doesn't? Or is my fan faulty! Any Bangaloreans can confirm if their radiator fans work, and how frequently.

Bajaj should re-use the tagline of previous Pulsar 200's advert for NS.. "Looks Hot, stays Cool"

    • Which color 200NS lasts long ( No Color Fading, Less Scratches Visibility etc.) ?

      Hi,
This is Kiran from Hyderabad, following this thread from starting, finally it made me to join in xBhp. Congratulations to all the P200NS Owners.

Keeping the personal colour preference aside, I would like to know, which color 200NS lasts long ( No Color Fading, Less Scratches Visibility etc.) ?

Could someone throw some light on this ?

      Thanks in Advance..

Any colour it may be, it depends on how you take care of it. There are many protective coatings like wax and teflon to bring out the shine and protect your bike, but at the end of the day, it is how you protect it.

Talking of non-0fading colours, black is all-time favourite for that cause. But, again I guess you willnot sacrifice a million eyes for maintenance!
You have heard of me, But you don't know me. You know what I'am, not what I've gone through

Yeah, I like black in Previous pulsars. But with 200NS Black is not that attaractive, Which is making me to think and confused in the the other colurs...

Trust me, Black is the most difficult to maintain. My 3 years old P180 (Blue) never faded, but my 3 years old black P220 had lost it's shine within 2 years of ownership.

Ya, Chintan, I know that. But does that mean after riding for 14kms and the idling for over 10 mins, the engine still doesn't reach 98degrees? If that's so, then it's a gem of engine. How often does your spins? How come, Duke get their fans spinning so often in traffic, mine has never spun in my last 180kms!

Actually for me the fan started when i was riding for around 15 kms at a streach , maybe some temp sensor activates the fan. When the fan starts u'll hear it's like as u start a pc.. I shouldnot advice u seeing ur biking exp, dont idle ur engine for more than 3-5 mins else heat wont spread out and might spoil ur engine on long run

Seems like it. Me too let engine idle for some time, and I never seen fan working. Today gone for 120 km ride, guys throttle feels way smoother in 3.5-4K range. Waiting for run-in period to get over.. can't wait to take it post 4K. It's begging. Was like floating in highway. Totally loved it.

One doubt, am planing to change oil @ 350 km.. (280 now).
So does it needed to take it to SVC? If taken, will they do just a oil change?

What's the oil you used Rahul bro ?

                          • BumbleeBeeee @ Chennai..!!!

                            Loan Approved by HDFC
                            Paid the downpayment today..!!!

Visited KLN Automobiles, Annanagar. Got to drive my BumbleeBee... ODO read: 1 km before the drive.. that is ok.. I guess.. I didn`t hear engine sound change when holding the clutch.. normal?

Engine was smooth.. super smooth.. wanted to test it with a pillion.. suspension fared very well.. made the showroom guy sit one side (See what all a mail to Bajaj can do).. Balancing was not an issue.. but footrest was..

Getting it to neutral was never an issue (had this problem in all the ones I drove before.. so another plus!)

Again.. Engine.. Seriously, amazingly smooth.. did not go beyond 4.5k RPM.. but it felt even extra smoother at 4k RPM..

Tested the exhaust with a couple of speed-breakers.. trust me.. Chennai has horrible ones.. it did not get hit by the speed-breaker..!!!

Brakes were bang on.. at 45 - 48 kmph.. no complaints..!!

Grip was decent.. nothing to complain.. it rained yesterday night.. tried a little corners.. fared decently.. no urgent need to swap tires..!!

Forgive me for the poor pictures.. I am a bad photographer..!!

Expected date of delivery: August 10th (close to @shibadip dada`s!!!)

                            anyone @Chennai got delivery??

I remember last time.. I promised to post VIN.. next time I visit KLN.. I forgot who asked.. but here goes:

                            VIN: MD2-A36-FZ6CCD-XXXXX

My dealer did not even know what decoding this means..!!

Coolant was leaking today and got it to show room at kasturiba road at around 10 in the morning .. those guys[at least 4 guys] were struggling to know the reason and i am sure they dont have much knowledge as they were struggling to open the ap and fill the coolant back too.. i had to stay back till evening
to get my byk back .. they dont even have coolant with them .. i had to wait till 4 and bunk my office to get it fixed
                              --------End my sad part---
As i already said in my previous post that i faced the coolant leakage issue the 2nd day itself .. been to showroom on Friday .. today again its leaking i dont know what he has done .. it did leak compleatly .. what to do guys ? can i use my byk ? And some times low oil pressure indicator comes up and .. some times it vanishes.. what is going on .. i am worried ..

Since the Coolant compleately drained out, it wont be a Over-flowing proble.Check for the leakage on the Coolant Tube, and ask the SVC to replace the tube.

Oil Pressure Indicator comming up ain't that big an Issue, and as @rahulbarik said its present in P220s as well. Might be because of a Faulty sensor
