I had gone to the kln showroom today too. Because of my late payment even I will be getting my red queen on or before August 10th :banghead::banghead:. Yesterday when I called, they said they will deliver the bike by next week though, so let's see..

And guys, please welcome one of the very first owners of the pulsar 200NS in Chennai, my roommate, jaggaraju16 . He got his black pulsar on Friday evening. Hasn't ridden it yet as he plans to ride after the pooja on Sunday, though me and our other roommate have used this opportunity to cash in on experiencing the awesomeness that is 200 since we got it home .


Also, I noticed there was one more black pulsar standing in our apartment block(manasa apartments, Anna Nagar, Chennai) on Friday evening. If by any chance you are here on xbhp, please do ping back..

One more thing, me and my room mate are planning to go to gp road, Chennai tomorrow to buy helmets, mostly one of cross or ls2.. By reading from forums we came to know that we have to bargain for the price reduction... Any other insights/ suggestions on this regard of buying these imported helmets will be helpful, as in what all to check for authenticity of the stuff, what all certifications to look for, any particular thing related to Chennai helmet buying, and other useful info.

Bro, if you want to choose between blue and red, I would suggest you go for the red because it's not the usual pulsar red but a glossier maroonish red which gives the bike a totally different (and awesome) look (my personal feeling). I felt there was not much of a difference between the blue of the old and the new pulsar.

In my previous p180 , this was exactly the case. The issue was with the sensor at the wheel and was replaced under warranty. Get yours replaced.

any xbhpian who is following this thread must know that how desperately I am awaiting the 200NS here in Kolkata. I (like 100s other) am religiously following all the news about NS right from the date of Unveiling.
Well right after unveiling, every one started to tell that how NS is inspired from Honda CB1000R and stuffs, but I generally ignored those stuff coz of the explanation that all naked bikes have similar stance etc etc. On picture also NS looked quite different to CB1000R in many respect.

However tonight was seeing a auto show, where a bite on some superbikes of Bhopal was shown. Though I was not concentrating enough (was on ph with GF), but the sudden trailer of a black CB1000R kept right beside a Busa looked 99% Similar to NS . I mean my 1st reaction was are they comparing NS with Busa.
Note - since the CB1000R was kept beside a Busa, that made it look slim enough, and the all Black look further helped in completely disguising the CB into NS.


Now, am I going to complain that Bajaj has no originality, and has copied the design of another brand??
Hell NO, Rather I will be enjoying the fact that I will be getting myself a Baby superbike (both in terms of look and performance), under 1lakh

faulty fuse!!!

Got my bumblebee delivered yesterday.Just after the delivery i found out that the horn wasn't working.They told me that it happened because of a faulty fuse and since they did not have any spares they replaced it with a fuse from p220.Now the tail lamps dont light up when the brakes are applied.......I'm told to visit the svc on monday.The mechanic assured me that it's a minor issue.....Anybody with similiar problems?

radiator fan never activates when the bike is always moving .. it gets activated only during crawling speed traffic ... this kind of cool bangalore weather helps run-in our bikes perfectly...

Got a call from the showroom. Bumblebee has arrived along with blue..Going to have a look at it to see whether I am going to stick with red or will yellow change my mind..

stable not that i dont love my current pulsar.Guess il have to rethink when its time to upgrade.

Khivraj Mount road does have NS...I have booked with them only, but i will tell you what, they are damn slow and lethargic...they have 1 bike for display which is black and they have already sold the TD vehicle to some person...they are not able to offer me a TD till date, i have booked with them on Mar...they didnt calll me once they have the bike...i have to find out everything...better you can book with Jai Auto...they offered me TD jusInt when i visited their showroom and they are eagerand interested to sell

The on-road price is same in kln and khivraj... But apart from that you will have to pay for affidavit (if you are non-resident of Chennai) and for flag day..
