The Manager insisted me to make the full payment for faster delivery hence I made the full payment too.

Guys I am getting LS2 FF350 Helmet for Rs 2600 is it a good deal? Should I go for it?

    Sorry for OT.

Hi guys! See my post on last week! I had blasted a mail to the customer care regarding this same issue~! Got the reply next day itself.

The owner of the showroom pleaded me to wait for 2 days more and told me that they would get into lot of trouble of my prob is not resolved!

I did not adhere to their plan and demanded full refund! They were helpless and gave back my money! I asked another showroom about the availability of yellow and they have it in stock! I'll make the full payment today and will get it delivered today itself! BAJAJ customer care does wonders!! DONT HESITATE TO SEND A MAIL!! It would really help! Even if you buy from the same showroom, they will respect you more because of the fear of a new blasting from the company for some other issue!! So GO AHEAD and send the customer care a wonderful mail!! Criticize the sales advisor as much as you can! That will do the trick!
Its not the speed.....it is all about the skill !!!!

    • All the guys who have booked from Kivraj -
I would suggest you all to write a mail individually to C.Care, and then send a group mail as well.(i.e) write the common problem, and then give details about all of your bookings, and the false dates provided by the showroom.

PS - Please use PM for all these communications..

        • Guys I'm getting my blue pulsar 200 ns in a few days. Reading this thread, I came to know the tyres aren't up to the mark. Can anyone suggest softer tyres than the stock ones?
Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

Everytime I call he says there's a lot of demand and bikes are being given priority wise by Bajaj. I even personally visited the showroom yesterday to check the stock. I did find quite a few bikes in the lot but he discarded giving some lame excuse. Now he has promised to deliver it by next week (I'm guessing its another false promise ). Please keep us updated if the mail to ccare does help in this regard.

Even I booked my red bike by paying full amount on 30 July from Khivraj WhiteField ,the guy told I will be getting the bike in max 15 days ,but now they are saying it will take one more week ,the excuse they give is Red is in demand and hence the shortage ,he told all other colors you will get sooner .I think they are just fooling us .

Off to write an email to customer care ,hope it will help .

Meanwhile guys has anyone else booked the bike from Khivraj Whitefield ???

            • Guys Khivraj sucks universally I guess. I had the same issues with Khivraj in Chennai. They gave me crap about lorry having left, lorry is on the outskirts of Chennai and the next day the lorry brokedown somewhere in Andhra(puzzles me as to why the lorry went to Andhra afetr having reached Chennai). Cancelled my booking and went to Jai Auto Adyar and got delivery on the second day. amazing service. Guys lets start a thread for all dealers faux pas as I think it would get them to realise that they are being tracked and may be they would noot take us to be such idiots.

Actually tire manufacturers make customized variant for a particular model. That is even if there's a MRF for R15 which is superb, the same tire cannot be offered to 200NS (same profile).

Secondly, soft compound tires are costlier, and lasts far much lesser than the hard ones. My P220 came shod with MRF Zappers Soft Compound, however the benefit of Soft Compound withered away in just 9,000 kms or so and by 18000 kms the tires were completely worn out.

Now, not everybody rides that aggressively, and not everybody will be willing compromise for such a drastic life of tire (provided they know about it).

Finally, the default Eurogrip tires, are not that bad (they are far better than some others in the same price bracket). One might need better tires to get the full potential of the 200NS, but not for everyday commute.

I did some aggresivve corenering and riding, and not even once i felt that they are any worse than my P220s zappers.

In the near future, Bajaj might opt for better tires or give one options. However the price will go up as well. Atleast for my riding, I find the tires good enough.

And yeah, here's my new console:

                    Absolutley agree buddy..
For my riding style, I'm not going to change the tyres.
But as u said, to get the full potential bajaj should have at least offered Optional better tyres.
I mean they invested so much in R&D for the better handling, so why not show it off by providing better tyres??
I agree that probably giving better tyres would have taken the cost beyond the Promised 1Lakh bracket, an optional choice would have been apt.

                    BTW, ur console looks killer...
Please post a pic of the whole bike from the rear with the console light on.

JUST a Suggestion - U could also have changed the Tacho Sticker in a White one, with black numericals...Would stand out from the all black Console!!

                    • Yeah Wow!
How did you get that voltmeter inside the console or is it looking like that in the dark?
Is this the stock background light, seems a little darker like red?

I will be posting a D.I.Y or in Desi Bike section. IF I put the numerical to black, how will they get back-lit? And BTW the Tacho backlight is not stock as well, it's AMBER in colour, will post a night time pic later.
