my ODO read is now 142 kms.
Is this mileage normal during these running in period? is it true the mileage figures improve after 1st service?? Or is it because I'm not riding well, that I get a f.e of 30 kmpl..???

And one more thing....I read in some sites, that NS is not suitable for medium built guys....TOTALLY WRONG!! Its all about your confidence and perception. I'm just 5'4" tall....guys trust me,I don't find it much difficult.
Try checking the mileage by doing reserve to reserve method
i am getting 43-44 kmpl before first service
just done with firstr service yesterday so still need to check the mileage after first service

    I know
i travel frm bsk to marathalli dude
but the bike is sooper awesome smooth though!!!!!

buddy u can do it urself
on start try setting it to 1.1k rpm
    rest all is looked after
u just need a small screw driver n u can set the idling screw is towards your right hand side when you sit on your bike just around the corner you can find it
    Yesterday itself i changed it

    • Meet with MG sir

      HI guys,
MG sir was in Bangalore today and we the NS owners had a little meet with him.
His long trip on the 200NS ends today , he will reach Pune by tonight. He has done 18000kms+ on his Red Test Mule.
Me along with Darryl, Arjun, Aayush, Avinash, Shreyance did a small ride with him to see him off the city.
ATGATT! There are many wonderful riders/drivers out there who would intrude in your riding space without any notice. Be prepared. Stay Safe.

        WOW, that was nice...
How did his test mule sound??

When MG came to Kolkata, our bad luck that me , rahul, myth were all out of town. We were all eagerly waiting for the NS(coz at that time NS was still not launched in Kolkata), and when MG came with NS, we went out!! Height of Irony.

It sounded a little wilder for sure, he said and i quote "I did not have any engine problems with this bike."

His tire hugger was totally out of place and shaking , it got cracked somewhere.

            • I am going to change the Engine oil now....Bike is feeling very rough,... Clocked 280km..... Which oil should I go for? Bajaj DTSi or Motul 20W50???

And ,please suggest 1 more brand(Not sure whether MOTUL is available in the shops nearby my place)

Will going for mineral oil cause engine overheating?

                    • This is the second time i'm asking this, please reply !
Hey guys my bike's clocked 330km on odo.. I recently got the engine oil and oil filter changed. And i used to have problems with the upshifting from 1st to 2nd! and now after the oil change i'm having trouble downshifting from 2nd to 1st as it doesnt go to the 1st gear.. even if i press the lever many times!! So i have to put to 2nd and move and then it comes to normal after some time.. This is happening about 2-3 times a day !!
                      1.Anybody else facing this ?
2.If yes, Did u get it fixed ?

AFR screw is different and is present on the carburetor.
I still haven't got my bike, so don't have the pic, But @Rahuldevnath have promised to post a pic of it soon.

                              • please help

hello all. this is my first post in xBhp . following this thread since 2 months now. I got my p200ns exactly a month ago. this is my first bike and I hardly know any thing about bike. my friend dropped the bike last week he was riding at a speed of about 30 kmph . Luckily nothing happened to him and no significant damage was visible on the bike . just the crash guard and the rear brake lever had bent, today I have noticed that handle when turned on the right touches the tank . can any one tell me what might have happened.?
