  • I have done about 150 on my bike and the smoothness is somewhat wearing off this may be probably due to the heavy bangalore traffic in which we need to frequently shift gears, drive on gear 1 and 2 mostly and do a lot of clutching... hell! i am going out of the city to ride my bike

      • Wanted to know about lugging?

at each gear what should be the RPM to avoid lugging? I have a tendency to drive slow due to the roads between my office and home hence i feel i sometimes do lugg my ride.

Nope, No blue one...They have a Black one now(unsold), One yellow (of Myth), One Red (one which we were given TD), and My bike
They have another red one Kept outside under an Umbrella, which is now a dedicated TD vehicle.

Some Biswajit got the Idea that u are my friend, and said that he(you) has asked for delivery post 15th Sept.
Further added -"when we had Blue he didn't order, and when he ordered we are out of Stock"

              • Just for knowledge. How much weight is reduced after removing the rear tyre hugger and saree guard?

@those who have removed the tyre hugger: have you experienced any mud splash on the tail-light pillion / rider?

To protect the mud spilage on the tail light i was thinking of putting a small plastic sheet between the number plate holder. what do you think will that make any difference?

The service manager immediately apologised for what happed with my bike and told me that they will investigate and let me know. Apparently , the soldering on the back side of the ignition had come out. I was shocked!!! Please see the pics 1 and 2(and please don't mid my 2MP phone camera).

                    .
I would like to say a few words when i visited Vishaka bajaj,Saligramam for seeing the 200NS in flesh and when i asked about the service he told like i may have to go to jai bajaj, adyar for servicing my vehicle.Since only they have been trained to give service to 200NS. He told like his people will be learning from them. So i think ur bike got into wrong hands ..

how did he get to know that we are friends? Btw i called and asked him if i could bring it from the godown..he said no... Neways good to hear that he has a dedicated test ride bike now. Atleast it would spare our bikes being used for TD... Thanx bro... I'll call u once...
BTW HOW ABOUT THE IDEA OF PULSAR POWERPARTS? Would love to get them... Bajaj can atleast launch a dedicated lineup of accessories and powerparts
for such a big brand with such an incredible fanbase...

Guys i would like to pose one question, whenever i see Fazer on the road it reminds me whether bajaj would also come up with the Full fairing one in the future(should be within one year)??

Some of my friends would like to go around the city (maybe 50kms max), been to Gandipet & Airport last weekend.
Well, you can take the NH7 and go till Tupran. Its like 50 kms one way from my place, Anojiguda (Ghatkesar). Wonderful piece of tarmac, awesome greenery. There is this restaurant(kind of) on the way to Tupran, actually before that. Can go there for breakfast with friends. Good place. I can never stop there and continue for another 50 kms one way, making my 50-80kms to 200 kms, the road is so damn good.
                          Regards,

                            • Finally my pulsar 200 ns is here! In spite of all the rain and slushy roads here in mysore, the bike did seem to be handling pretty awesome. I'm impressed. It's been exactly 24 hours since I got my baby home and it's already run 120 kms. Now I'm inexperienced in the field of motorcycling and this is my first bike. (I guess here I shouldn't be ashamed to confess I was a scooty guy before ) Anyway, I was adviced not to cross 4k rpm till the engine has run in. Now I can accept that. But how will I know if the engine has run in or not? I can't just start riding differently after say 1000 kms assuming the engine's matured now can I? As such there are many more doubts but lets clarify this one first. Can someone help me?

And is it okay if the rear disk squeaks once in a while (when I have NOT applied brakes that is ) ?
