Btw, @ NS ians, I am buying a bullet cover from the royal Enfield showroom for 1100. The quality of the cover is really good and it's thick and water proof..

I think someone posted in this thread that he paid 250rs for bullet cover, though he wasnt satisfied with the quality. He said that the cover was very thin...
Karizma ZMR covers fits well for 200ns. Make sure that cover wont rub the tank every time you use it. Tank and pulsar logo might get damaged if it gets in contact with the cover frequently. Its not the speed.....it is all about the skill !!!!

You can go to an authorized Enfield dealer/servicing/spares and check the cover. You can get the contact from net.. In Chennai, a good quality rain proof cover costs between 850-1100 and a cotton cover costs 1600.Originally posted by DDsouza View PostGuys any idea how much would the cost of Royal Enfield Bike Covers in B'lore ? xO

290kms
Hi Guys my first post here although been following this thread from page 16. Picked up my yellow NS on a week back. Amazing experience at Jai Adyar. They were actually customer centric. Would also like to make a special mention of the manager Sundar. Now down to brass tacks.
Kudos first:
1. Huge grin factor (sadly not as big as the RD)
2. Handles like a dream
3. Difficult to keep revs under 5000rpm. Calls for supreme self control
Now for the brickbats:
1. I dont understand why the brakes have to drag so much. Being new is not an excuse. It amounts to applying brakes and accelerating which obviously is a definite NO.
2.The tyres seem a little inadequate at times (tyres or me? debatable)
3. Touched hundred briefly the other day and the mirrors folded in. Crappy quality they seem as floppy as a beagles ears.
4. Headlamp throw less than adequate(changed to Philips city moto. Now situation is tolerable)
On the whole seems a good experience and having fun. will keep the forum updated.rev head

Riding left to right
Guys the other day I sawe post of someone saying that he needs better tyres as he rides from left to right in traffic which i interpret as weaving through traffic. would we call that responsible or safe riding? DONT YOU GUYS THINK THAT THE FORUM SHOULD RAISE ITS VOICE
against comments such as these. If I interpreted the post wrong than the foot is in my mouth.rev head

Will be picking up mine today (Yellow ofcourse!).. Enjoy riding.. and stay safe!
Riding from left to right is not something I would recommend or go alright with.. but weaving a little is ok.. I mean that`s where two wheelers take over four wheelers right.. An experienced biker will know when to.. and when not to.. the ones who aren`t sure... strictly shouldn`t.. one should always REMEMBER SAFETY FIRST.. you need to be alive to be a biker..!!!Last edited by govind.one; 08-08-2012, 11:06 AM.sigpic
