    • Footrest for Saree guard......

For all the married brothers receiving wrath for their bike being anti to the saree wearing population I saw this mod on another NS at the service centre today, hope it can help some of the folks here....

@ movies99 Same happens with mine, i guess with others as well. You can use the choke for the first start in the morning or keep the throttle open to simply keep it a around 1500-1700 rpm for a minute or two. When your engine is warmed up after riding for a kilometre or two adjust the idle to 1500 rpm.

PS : Done with the run in of my new Pirellis and the grip is now awesome, the bite from the rear brakes has become noticeably increased, the overall feel of the bike being well planted has increased a lot especially while cornering, will post a few pics soon with the new tyres....

when I start the bike in the mornings.. the rpm will be somewhere like 1-1.3.. the bike shuts off.. so I increase the rpm to 1.5.. it will be fine...

after driving about 20 min or so.. the rpm will read above 2.. I mean after the bike gets heated up or some drive.. the idle rpm changes..

how to deal with this ??
I have kept my Idling to 1 & it stands there even in cold climate after riding for some KM it gives at 1.3 RPm.
I use choke everyday in the morning & leave it for a min.

          (1) Motul Oil - 394/-
Is this 20w50 SS - advice your experience after using this oil, will opt for same.
          (2) Coolant - 20/-
          (3) Oil Filter - 64/-
          (4) 3M WAX Polish - 34/-
How come they charge INR 34 for wax polish, can I ask for same here in Hyd once I take it for 1st service
          (5) Chain Lubing - 70/-
          (6) Other Consumable - 35/-

I have used that Motul 3100 Gold, before as well on my 220. The oil is quiet good for it's price and is synthetic blended, so should also allow for some friction as well.

3M products are basically Service centre dependent. That is if they provide 3M products at their workshops. It's nothing really great, be nevertheless better than the normal wax polishes. Also it's "sprayed" and put by cloth in normal cases. Alternatively, you can look for 3M car/ bike detailing workshops in your city as well.

Similar thoughts. But for the same price, Motul will be better.

When is the best time to set the Idle RPM? Start the vehicle, let it idle for a minute or so. Take it for a spin and then set it?
RPM will vary once the engine is heated up. But under normal conditions, when engine is cold, the bike should start to about 1100-1200 RPM and max rise a idle RPM of 1500-1700 when it's hot. You can change the idle RPM as many times as you want. Basically, that screw just puts stopper for minimum level of your accelerator. So, Idling is just like pulling the accelerator.

Best time to set the Idle RPM is when your engine is hot! That's is at least you have ridden it for about 10-15 mins or so.

As discussed earlier. RPM will vary once the engine is heated up. But it should still stay between 1100-1200 to 1500-1700 max! Anything more, mean you are running the AFR ricer than required.

Karizma ZMR covers fits well for 200ns. Make sure that cover wont rub the tank every time you use it. Tank and pulsar logo might get damaged if it gets in contact with the cover frequently.

Its not "which helmet". Its "which visor".

                              Clear visor for night time.
                              Tinted visor for day time.

There are visors available in stores both clear and tinted.

i am more anygry at people who have empty road ahead and are riding at snail's pace even when they know that the people behind want them to move away and leave place ..a very loud horn feels satisfying at those times ... i had a double horn of VW vento fitted to my previous fz and it would give heart attacks for people around me .. just hate the autowalas ,, they just dont go or let others go ...i still have that horn and i am looking to get it fitted on my new ride ..
