Naah! I could feel the engine wasn't that hot. Also, one has over temp indicator as well.. noting to worry as such.Originally posted by Wizardvivek View Post
If you don't go for 1st free service, Oil change will be chargeable. My suggestion would be to go to local mech, and put cheapest 20W50 mineral oil you can find for the time being.Originally posted by J K View Post
Compared to Honda Unicorn Dazzler, it's 10/10 for engine of that capacity.Originally posted by RascalAngel View Post
If you can, buy from outside. Mineral as said.Originally posted by J K View Post
Bro, take it to Auto Service Banashankari. Low Oil Pressure indicator is a known issue, but nothing to worry about. However, without coolant, it's dangerous to ride. However if your bike is completely out of coolant, ask Khivraj guys to come to your house and take the vehicle, if they refuse, contact Bajaj customer care ASAP.Originally posted by ravieeswar View PostLast edited by rahuldevnath; 07-28-2012, 11:17 PM.Been There, Done That; Better!

hey thank you .. Will do that ..Originally posted by Shibadip View Post
Since the Coolant compleately drained out, it wont be a Over-flowing proble.Check for the leakage on the Coolant Tube, and ask the SVC to replace the tube.
Oil Pressure Indicator comming up ain't that big an Issue, and as @rahulbarik said its present in P220s as well. Might be because of a Faulty sensor
Any bajaj service center on sunday in bangalore ?? kasturiba showroom is nearer to me .. you would not suggest this showroom ??Originally posted by rahuldevnath View PostBro, take it to Auto Service Banashankari. I guess, you are a first time Bajaj owner?
We buy from Kasturba road, but if its feasible, then a Pulsar has to goto Auto Service, in Banashakari 3rd stage, once there you will know the difference between the "wannabe" engineers of Khivraj and real engineer. Mr. Venkat Shyam. This person who own this exclusive probiking only service centre; is a bike enthusiast (current steed a Kawasaki 650), an Ex-Bajaj engineer and a humble human being. Things work differently there, especially if you need specific help.
Auto Service is open on Sundays as well, but go early and call up before you go. Here are the details:
Auto Service

concerns without fullstand for NS 200
Fellow riders and experts,
This is my first post and pl do share constructive feedback/critisism
"After you drive for some kms, engine heats up. After this when you park on side stand, engine oil level is tilted wrt the engine. Cooling is uneven if not allowed to completely cool down and the bike is used again."
What is the merit of the above statement.
What about merits wrt liquid cooled engines.
Pulsar 200NS has center stand as acessory. What about availability? In bangalore?
PS- Booked NS 200 red beast. Obviously don't want to park my bike on side stand indefinitely.
Rgds

All the colours are unique. I find the Blue more appealing than Red, however its duller than the latter. To keep things in perspective, the yellow being the brightest, Red comes next, followed by Blue and then of course black. How noticeable you want to be in the crowd?Originally posted by Nhojv View PostTo all the ns owners .. Congrats....I am going between blue and red....can those who have seen these two colors together comments on your choices? It might help me too . Thanks in advance.

Congrats!!Originally posted by govind.one View Post[FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=2]Loan Approved by HDFC

Paid the downpayment today..!!!
Visited KLN Automobiles, Annanagar. Got to drive my BumbleeBee... ODO read: 1 km before the drive.. that is ok.. I guess.. I didn`t hear engine sound change when holding the clutch.. normal?
Engine was smooth.. super smooth.. wanted to test it with a pillion.. suspension fared very well.. made the showroom guy sit one side (See what all a mail to Bajaj can do).. Balancing was not an issue.. but footrest was..
Getting it to neutral was never an issue (had this problem in all the ones I drove before.. so another plus!)
Again.. Engine.. Seriously, amazingly smooth.. did not go beyond 4.5k RPM.. but it felt even extra smoother at 4k RPM..
Tested the exhaust with a couple of speed-breakers.. trust me.. Chennai has horrible ones.. it did not get hit by the speed-breaker..!!!
Brakes were bang on.. at 45 - 48 kmph.. no complaints..!!
Grip was decent.. nothing to complain.. it rained yesterday night.. tried a little corners.. fared decently.. no urgent need to swap tires..!!
Forgive me for the poor pictures.. I am a bad photographer..!!

Glad the loan got approved..and seriously, the photographs were pretty good
Congrats to you tooOriginally posted by udaysagar View Post
Nice angle on the pic.. I am getting red as well...soon i hope..

Thanks bro....completely agree to your thoughts. Definitely not the yellow....have just seen the blue in the showroom . Red needs a week more. So still confused ....mostly will go by red...but as you mentioned the question of how noticeable remainsOriginally posted by rahuldevnath View PostAll the colours are unique. Yellow is the most attractive, the attention seeker. Then comes red but red is more matured than yellow. After that blue and sad to say, black is not that good for 200NS design, just like P 150 looks good in black and apache looks bad in the same.
