Need advice! Please help!
First of all congrats to all the new owners of the NS
Hope you have a long and great experience with it!
Now for my problem - ( This might sound like a rant, so please bear with me )
When i booked my bike on 29th July, The guy in the showroom said that i dont need to specify colour as he would keep in touch with me and ensure that i will get the colour which i ask him( even then i informed him i will get either red or yellow ). By the way, i was the second or third to book the bike in that showroom.
2 weeks later, I confirmed that i wanted Red and he said that he will get it for me in the first lot. The test bikes came 15 days back (4 black) He later said that the company didnt approve test rides and the bikes would be sold when the showroom gets the go ahead from Bajaj.
3 days back he called and said i will be getting the bike on saturday (today). I was happy and i made all the arrangements for payment. 2 days back the guy calls me again and says that only yellow and blue bikes are coming in this lot and i have to to wait for 1-2 weeks to get red! When i asked him "whats the point in booking early and confirming the colour i want when i cant even get the bike in the first lot??" he said that he cant help it and only the company decides what colour bikes the showroom gets and the booking doesnt make any difference!
Is this true?? I want to write a letter to the customer care..Please give out your suggestions

showroom doesnt have any control over the colors which are sent out to them especially when its a newly launched bike ..as far as i know , most of the bajaj showrooms here have got a majority of yellow ones ..Originally posted by sagar_phoenix View PostFirst of all congrats to all the new owners of the NS

Yes, I totally agree with the above point. But this is only in case of the first lot and most showrooms have many Yellow & less other colors since they were informed that Yellow is mass produced. From second lot all dealers can quote what colors they want. This information was given to me by my dealer.Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Postshowroom doesnt have any control over the colors which are sent out to them especially when its a newly launched bike ..as far as i know , most of the bajaj showrooms here have got a majority of yellow ones ..
The above is the reason why i have been waiting for a week to get my bike since i wanted blue which was out of stock.
Blue and other colors arrived on Wednesday(initially he had lots of yellows and black) and Dealer said the bike will be registered on Monday. Hopefully i can finally ride my own bike either on Monday or on Tuesday.

Are you already into Touring??Originally posted by rahuldevnath View PostI'm not sure if it was intentional, but the gap between the frame and pillion seat serves a good purpose!
And if the side flaps of the bag can be So neatly tucked in, That means the Panel gap is HUGE!!!Last edited by Shibadip; 07-28-2012, 11:32 AM.sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

By the way, yesterday, I took my bike to my friend's place (A Bajaj hater and a Honda Fanboy), intially he wasn't convinced, but the moment he took her for a ride, his comments were "my bike is on sale, this bike is unbelievable". He currently own a 2011 Unicorn Dazzler!
Secondly got my engine oil changed, at 85Kms on ODO, and it has made the bike even smoother. Can't wait to put Motul Fully Sunthetic.. and see the results!Been There, Done That; Better!

No not already in touring, but at least 2 days in a week I have to travel 110Kms to and fro for my office commuteOriginally posted by Shibadip View PostAre you already into Touring??

The panel gaps are huge, but it seems that they are designed intentionally in a such a way, and not an error. Also, coming from P220, opening the rear seat is a breeze, and have a lot space to keep you stuff (compared to other bikes of course and not scooters)
In fact initially I thought that my old magnetic Cramster bags will go waste, but I guess this is even better!Last edited by rahuldevnath; 07-28-2012, 11:51 AM.Been There, Done That; Better!
