From past 1 week some noise ( kat-kat )is coming from the main frame of my bike how can I solve this, I think the noise is coming from inside the frame and the noise is irritating on bumpy roads ..should this be any problem in future as the noise is coming from the main frame which I think is the backbone of the bike

Hi,
Today had my first experience of punctures with my bike. The mechanic told me to change the rear tyre as soon as i can.
Hence, I have finally decided to go for the tyre changes both at rear & front. Following are the tyres that I have selected:-
Front:- 100/80 MRF NYLOGRIP ZAPPER FX-1 {FZ V2 TYRE}
Rear:- 130/70 MRF REVZ {R15 V2 TYRE}
I request the Bangalore members to help me out on the pricing of the above tyres as I plan to go to JC Road this Sunday. Please help

Query Regarding Carb Issue

My Bike has got issue with Carb Diaphram and i recently inquired about the diaphram at the service center (Delhi).

They told me that it is not available as Bajaj has now stopped sending the stock. You have to replace the full carb now (Rs.2,500 aprox)

Is this true? Or is that Service Centre trying to make money from me

What is the situation in other service centers(Delhi/NCR) and other cities as well.

Please someone help me on this as i am in no mood to spend 2.5K+ labor for the new carb.

What an idiotic reply from the SVC! After a puncture, do you replace the tube/tire or the whole bike?

Just shoot a complaint to Bajaj Customer Care and see the SVC dance.

Agree with this. Just go to the Bajaj website and visit the customer care section Bajaj

Just drop an email to them from there with your complaint regarding any issues with the dealership and see the magic happen.

I dropped an email to them about a week regarding the non-availability of a test vehicle at their dealership in Ghaziabad. Got a call from the dealership within an hour, with due apologies and an offer for the test ride at the time of my convenience.

Well this particular Service Centre (Deewan Okhla) is a total nonsense. I didnt argue much with them and left from there.

Yes i do know about the the customer complaint section at their website. I have used it several times and it has been useful.

To be frank i haven't inquired at other centers yet (like Noida,etc) due to limited time. Sitting in office i just wanted to share this over here & wanted to know if this is really true.

I shall inquire at other places and then shoot the mail if i get similar response.

Off topic: Sir i also live in Ghaziabad and if i remember correctly we met once near Akshardham redlight while you were riding the ceat ninja (i was on yellow ns)

Edit: Have you checked the Suman Bajaj in Noida. Quite a few xBhpians from NCR recommend it.

How is your bike running? Is the New Lot NS better in quality as compared to the first lots?

My Bike is suffering from the following problems -
1. Triple Clamp or Fork bent - handle goes to right (how this happened remains a mystery). Till now no service center has been able to correct it
2. Heat Shield at the exhaust outlet is vibrating like hell and makes a loud noise. Bolts Jammed need to get it out somehow
3. Carb Issue
4. Vibrations Everywhere

No, i havent checked with them. Will speak to Manohar on this issue

Hi friends,

My one-of-the never ending issues - the engine starts vibrating a lot whenever the the fuel goes below half tank. As the fuel level goes down, the vibrations become more evident.
The engine is super smooth when running on a full tank and. One of the members advised to close the fuel tap and then open again after a few seconds when the engine is running. This would relieve the pressure on the tap. Tried a lot of things including adjusting the carb also. Still no use. Taken the bike to svc for rectifying this so many times. Last time they said its because of a bent fuel pipe. They say they fixed it. But the issue is still there. This is so frustrating.

Please help!!

Suman Bajaj in Noida is nice n friendly, reasonable most of the time.. But usually their service bays are so crowded I tell you... Still one of the most preferable.


AFAIK the entire Carburettor is replaced only in newer 200NS, in warranty or not. that's what I've heard atleast. Also that the daiphgram issue doesnt crop up in newer 200NS at all. It lasts longer..

As im guessing your NS is 2012-2013 model so you only need that small diaphragm thing replaced. not the entire carb.. one of the guys in naked wolves got it done from Suman Bajaj very recently.. no problems other than spare availability ofc. There is Tomar ji who is the works manager at Suman Bajaj Noida, he's very nice n will be helpful. Get it touch with him when u reach Suman Bajaj, if u do. After getting the new carb diaphgram you will still experience some issues as decribed in the following post by Aditya, check link.. It can be fixed, be sure to guide the mechanic at the service center.

Could someone please recommend me accessories and modifications (cosmetic as well as performance related) for my NS?
Also a link to the website or shop location in Mumbai (preferably between Churchgate and Andheri) would be greatly appreciated.
My focus is primarily on exhausts (saw a few videos on youtube, fell in love with the SCORPION exhaust, although no price/model info is given)
Also Angel Eye headlamps, those seem fantastic.
