you can deduct lock set from your bill, even after that it will be a big figure. I think if you would have considered bajaj authorized service center than this service could have costed somewhere around 15000 atleast...

Actually my first 4 services were from the authorized service center and I shifted to the new place for this service only because the mechanic shifted.

The difference I have observed is that my bike was given a little more importance here compared to Bajaj and cost wise I could have expected 1k more max and not more because the parts cost the same everywhere and labour was a little cheaper than Bajaj.

It is not available in stock 100/80 size, you have to opt for 110/70.

I will not say the handling is ruined. But is much different.

With this tyre the bike becomes more than eager to lean into corners and so the rider has to control the lean.

This is exact opposite to, what we do currently. Currently we have to take effort to make the bike lean.

The reason is Michelin Pilot Street Radial has a more curved profile and since it is fitted on a rim that is designed for a narrower tyre, it becomes even more curved.

                AND

It is a radial tyre and no other tyre available in india is radial.

Initially u will feel the handling weird, but after some time u will get used to it.

It is a small price to pay for superb grip.

How much had the pair cost? And when you say the bike feels eager to lean, do you feel that cutting through traffic is easier with this tyre or the stock? I had been told that the handling becomes slightly sluggish. It's not that sharp with the Pilot Street front.

Guys I would suggest all of you to stick with stock tyre sizes as the engineers who designed the bike have thought a lot before choosing the right spec. The body frame and tyres are the first to be designed and tested.
It is my opinion and I am changing my tyres in the coming months to the new TVS ATT230 which are soft compound and very very grippy!
It was designed for the 200NS after TVS got the negative feedback from the owners of eurogrips.

And IMO.. looking at grooves there might not be excellent wet grip compared to pilot street !

come on prince bhai, 110/70 is wrong. would be the weirdest handling ever for NS.. there is alot you're losing for that "superior rubber" of front tyre. Braking on these tyres may feel like the effect of ABS may be.. due to the superior grip. But it's still wrong. More importantly, no need to compromise on handling this way when front tyres with good rubber are already available in stock sizes.
With this, you lose the natural characteristic of the bike due to the correct reasons you mentioned, rim size etc. Try cutting through the traffic like a ghost rider, zig zag at high speed and low speeds, you won't be able to do it as well as one would on stock sizes. I know it's against the talks allowed on xBhp forum. but I'm trying to mention here what the bike is capable of and how this front spec tyre will hinder it from doing so.

LOL, trust me on this bro. We've asked n inquired deeply on this matter. yes from TVS itself. It uses the exact same rubber compound and quality of our infamous Euroslip tyre.. been said many time already. only grooves are different. basically this is the same tyre going under a different name. Which is now history as it's been replaced by MRFs now.

Confirming another thing if people here didn't know... - MRF Nylogrip Zapper S is now available in 140/70/17 size, saw it fitted today on a friend's NS... yes, simply an upsized Revz-S 130/70.. same grooves and compound of Revz-S.. same grip. Good option for people looking to upsize rear for the badass look of a 140/70 on NS..
That's it for me on this tyre subject.. no more.

Well 110/70 is not wrong size...when u dont get the tyre with desired properties, you have to buy the nearest possible size. And 100/80 and 110/70 is almost similar size.

And weird handling does not mean bad handling. I tried to explain it in my previous post. The handling is not weird, handling is different and since you dont have any previous experience of riding a radial tyre, it will FEEL weird to you. And it will be ok once u get used to it.

ABS....what it has to do here....maybe u wrote it by mistake.

Zig zag through traffic...cutting like a ghost rider....hmmmn....when i said this tyre makes the bike more eager to lean ...it automatically means the handling becomes sharper than before. BUT it is so only for those who know how to lean in a correct way.

If you want wet grip, there is no other tyre in indian market, that even comes near to it, forget beating it in wet performance.
