Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Most probably the plastic shield above the headlight, or the speedo console (or both!). When you hear the sound, hold/press the shield/speedo and see if the sound disappears while you hold itOriginally posted by sumedh11n View Post

How did you know it leaks? It's a gas shock, isn't it?Originally posted by Abinash_Mohanty View Postseems like lickage in mono shock absorber and need to replace as service center guys saying though bike is under warranty it should be free relacement but one doubt last two free service had done earlier as per given time or km driven. But in warranty guidelines has written ""availing of 3 free services without lapse"" should avail the warranty benefit..... would i claim warranty??...

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
For warranty, services should be carried out at either correct time or kilometre reading. If you have done, you can claimOriginally posted by Abinash_Mohanty View Postthere is some breakage on upper part as it result to serious vibrating like my ns dancing like disco dance on rear part....so must need to change. please anyone say would i avail warranty?
But I feel you should be able to claim the shock even otherwise, because it has nothing to do with servicing!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Sometimes this works -> remove the spring from the shock, then with the help of a car's jack, fully compress it under something. Means, keep it on top of the jack and keep below something and drive the jack up. Keep it fully compressed for a day or two. Should become a bit softer. I did it for both springs together in my P150 and it worked! Have not tried with 200NS. I think I'll try soon. It is hard even in lowest setting!Originally posted by Kiran200NS View PostGuys need a small help here
I am in the need of making the mono shock softer but it is already at it loosest setting
Know any ways by which I can make it more softer

Warning: highly dangerous if care not taken. If the spring slips out when compressed, will go like a missile

Btw, I have a few suggestions for tweaks which might help.
1.) For people who have a problem with the clip on handle bars, you can weld all the three pieces together. Works like a charm.
2.) People who are short, remove your tyres. That reduces about 7 cms. Ride on rims. The ride quality deteriorates a bit but you get killer sparky burnouts.
3) People who want to get more mileage, mix 1/3rd kerosene with 2/3rd petrol. Also, add a little bit of camphor. That makes the kerosene volatile like petrol. This combination is what the Speed petrol is made of.
4.) Those who have a blue NS, paint your rims fluorescent green and put the number 46 on it, your bike will go twice as fast and you can take corners like Rossi.
These points are totally legit. Trust me.
