P. S. I hope nobody here is stupid enough to try what I said. I was joking. Those things will wreck you and your machine.

And Krixna, please don't give such dangerous suggestions here to anyone. There are many young/new riders who might just try to be stupid and end up in a bad situation.
Kiran200NS, bro there's nothing you can do for now. If it's new it will be hard. It's a sports bike. If it had been soft, it would be another Impulse or something. With constant use, it gets softer. So nothing to worry. Give it time. And don't try to get the suspension removed and get it pressed or anything. It is highly dangerous. I have never heard of such a way to get a softer suspension. Ever.

Now, to the people who are actually well informed about the bike, I have a query.
My brake pedal seems too high. It is about a couple of inches higher than the engine oil indicator window. I have to pull my foot up so as to not run my bike while braking.

My friends have often pointed out that my brake light keeps blinking often.

Is this a common issue or is it unique to my bike alone? If anyone has faced this issue, have you got it fixed? If so, how? The svc guy says it's normal in all our bikes, which I find hard to believe.

I have exactly the opposite issue. My pedal is too low. I visited quite a few mechanics and svc as well. But, all they say is that brake pedal cant be tweaked in disc brakes.

Ok no more dangerous advice I promise
Although it worked for my P150 springs)

This is for real : the brake pedal has no adjustable stopper. You can weld a small nut in btw pedal and vehicle body so that it stops lower. Welding or superglue... Your choice. I used superglue and it has not come off yet after two weeks

Note: I have pressed the pedal down to take the pic

I too have the same problem, my legs are a little bit longer, as a result they need more angle at foot pedals.I asked about it during the first service, the mechanic told that back break cannot be lowered because it's a disc, but he did lower the gear pedal and it helped a lot.
But for the break pedal he offered no solution.

I didn't understand that 'nut' part. If it stops lower doesn't that mean the break is engaged?

Guys what can be done for the vibration on our clip on handle bar? On a long ride i always feel my hand gets numb. To be clear its not so vibrating but the continous buzz making it numb.

Nope. Because it is hydraulic. It will engage only under pressure. You don't adjust brake pad's 'free play' in disc brakes. However, there is an adjustment on the brake piston's rod (connecting the brake pedal to brake piston/cylinder). With this you can make any adjustments if needed for *free play of pedal*, not disc. Disc is always free when there is no pressure (i.e, your foot is not pressed on the pedal). Hope that helps

Hi guys,

Got an 200 NS... amazing bike awesome performance..
the showroom that I purchased from was Vinayaka bajaj begumpet- hyderabad
after my first servicing was done.. there was noise coming form the engine. Went back to service centre and the mechanic said the sound was from tappet... so he adjusted and gave me the bike but now when I am driving the bike at 90 or 100 there is burning smell coming once once its stopped..
could anyone suggest me what to do...!!

You're riding a new bike at 90-100?

Good luck with your bike, bro.

And about the burning smell, it's from the radiator fan which throws out the heat from the engine.

The fan only turns on when the engine is heated. Not in cold weathers and normal drive.

After coming back from a ride, put the bike on stand and keep the engine running. The radiator fan should start in a few minutes (unless you live in a really cold place). If the fan works, it is fine. Just go slower, say 50-60 till the bike does at least 1000km. If the fan does not start even after 10 minutes, take it to the service centre.
Note: have to keep the engine on after coming back from a ride, when the engine is hot.
