Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi all,
Wanted to ask something..I've completed 30000 kms and is planning to service the bike. I need to change the right handle bar as it's slightly bend due to an accident. In a dilemma now, should I give the bike to the svc or should I give the bike to a local mechanic whom I know for sometime now. Please help me with this guys.

Local mechs will do it for a lot cheaper. Depends on how skilled he is, he will do a good job.Originally posted by prasanth_v85 View PostHi all,

Svc on the other hand will uses genuine parts and will cost more. I guess SVC is reliable but if you trust your local mech pretty well. Go for him.
In my case, I would get it done by a mech in my city and not svc coz, this guy makes bikes from scratch, literally. So, he is better than the svc.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I've bent my handle twice and got it repaired for 50 bucks. I gave it to my local mechanic who took it to a metal fabrication place. They straighten it out way forks are repaired. Haven't had any problems with it. It's good as new.Originally posted by prasanth_v85 View PostHi all,

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
These problems are common. Many bikes have clip on bars so the local mechanics gave ideas about such things. Anything which is unique to the P200Ns don't get it done from outside, for example the brake lever, or removing the tank or things like that.Originally posted by prasanth_v85 View PostThanks chandrajith and Mark for the replies..guess I will go with my local mechanic as he does a good job..

The main facts are:
200NS gives mileage of at least 40 kmph in City Rides and 45-50 on highways
P220 gives a mileage of 30-32 on City Rides and 37-42 on highways.
It has more power, better handling, liquid cooled and better in all ways than P220.
Yes, only one negative of 200NS when compared to P220 is that it is a bit high priced. But, trust me, you get a lot lot more when considering the price difference.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Mileage is almost same for both. Technology wise, the liquid cooled engine is far ahead. 200NS has directly taken away a chunk of the 220 sales. Sales guys are desperate to meet their targets for 220. Tried their tricks with me too. I told them that I didn't come for their advice or opinion, but to buyOriginally posted by Md Faizan View PostHi guys, this is going to be my first ever bike

Yep it does. Mine is blue black though. I like blue black better, but its just me. red black is awesome too. Congo on your new first bike. Be sure to post pictures when you've purchased it. Here's some from my side.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi Folks.. Got the delivery of my Black and White last night.. Did a thorough PDI as per the list compiled from this forum.. I personally liked Black white more than others coz I feel thats the only colour which gives NS a big bike look.. Again, a personal opinion..
The bike feels awesome.. Big enough to catch attention on the road.. Still to complete registration formalities so can't ride more..
There aren't too many 200NSs on road, feels great to be sort of distinct n unique from others.. Here's a quick pic.. Will upload more later...
Pace your Ride the way to you want to Pace your Life. Both can be dangerous if taken too fast - all the time...!
