Nice. As a gujju, I'm proud of you bro.
Even old ladies can't bargain like that for a battery.

No offence, I'm just laughing really hard.

Lol, you oughta laugh coz for future i saved you or your friends some bucks...

Well This reply was just to enlighten others that since no other company makes battery for NS except Exide, Dealers would definitly exploit this.

Hence if any one quotes you more than 2000rs, well you now know how much its sellable price can be.

Yes, I know. Thanks for that. I was expecting that someone or the other might buy it and inform the rest of us about it.

With Bajaj its always "replace it" philosophy, it helps them make money. Post a pic of the damage so WE can see it and judge. If you leave it to svc they'll make you jack up the stand and slide a new bike over it. Its most likely faulty oil seals and springs. Getting those changed will suffice.

Yeah. You can find a shop doing 'shock absorber reconditioning' near your place and get it done for a fraction of the cost of a new one

He said that shocks have to be replaced...
                            So.. My question is that...
Is it time to replace shock ...

                            My bike has done 29k...

exact problem i have faced 6 days back went to svc and they told me to replace and under warranty it has been replaced already.... i don't know the fact but i see many users here complaining about the same prob about shock absorber....can we assume its cause of a poor suspension?? .... anyway as u said if u have bike under 2yrs or in between 30k km (which will be come earlier?) can claim for warranty.
