You simply need to remove the brake lever first from the supporter.

While putting it back, try the desired angle and then shove the supporter into the lever.

Then tighten the bolt. Its simple.. I got my done that way.

Cranked the starter madly but no response. So took it to a local mechanic nearby. He took off a spark plug of the bottom from lhs off the bike and poured in engine oil through it(plug hole). Then he cranked the starter and after doing it for 5 seconds bike came to life.. i asked him the problem and he said that the problem is in the engine's compression. I dont know what he meant so please enlighten me on it. I felt really bad since i took real care of the bike in the initial stages and i never take my bike northwards of 6k rpm (have redlined only 3-4 times not more). It is the second time the bike shut itself off suddenly while riding and not starting after that.. the first time (200-300kms) back, i cranked for 20s continuously and it started after waiting for 30 mins :/ . I went to the svc and they've told me to check in there on Sunday but please tell me what is the issue? Svc told the same i.e. compression problem and they had to check thoroughly and possibly do valve lapping (what is valve lapping??) ..
Odo around 5200kms
Bike is a year old
Servicings done 430, 1867, 3305 and 4626 kms . Running on motul 5100 since last 900kms ..

The compression problem means that your bike's valves got stuck open. Its no biggie but can in rare cases if left unattended cause bent valves. Its an oil circulation issue (to the head) and can happen to the very well maintained bikes too (do redline it every once in a while).

Guys.. Stock headlamp is good. But I want to change it to white light instead of yellow...

White headlamp looks cool. It has wider angle too I suppose ??

Any advice regarding this ? Can anybody suggest which headlamp I can buy...

Hapy New Year wishes to all....

The white light is good if you go for HID. For normal bulbs, the white light does not have that much output because the normal bulb is covered with a blue film which gives you white light.

The light is only good in completely dark areas. For areas where you have streetlights or cars, your light would completely disappear.

Also, you can't see anything in highways.

I tried Philips Diamond vision. Can't see shit with that.

White lights don't have higher output than yellow bulbs since they are usually yellow bulbs with blue filter. This reduces total light output. Also, yellow light reduces driver fatigue and has better penetration through fog/rain. White light during rains or fog makes visibility poor. It may look cool but white light is not worth it for night driving...

Opt for light output between 4000k - 4300k best suited for visibility!
White light comes in range of 5000k
4300k is also sort of whitish with hint of yellow..
Anything more than 4300k will reduce visibility!

The brake pedal looks strong but its quite fragile but bends easily :/ MarkNS : buddy pedal looks bent??
Did you had an accident?? or did something hit the pedal?

I'd fallen. On the ride side. Due to sand on the road. So it did get bent. Which part are you talking about? I didn't understand.

You will run into trouble if you run into fog/mist with white light, mate. You will see the *fog clearly*, but not through it!!
But with no fog, white gives more illumination.

So it's better to stay with stock bulbs instead of changing I suppose. I'm thinking to change b coz sometimes this stock bulb vanishes like a shadow. I can say that Honda trigger bulbs looks brighter than this stocks. I sure hope Many would have experienced this...

If I want to upgrade... Which one should I go for ?

Your personal choice. No fog in your area means white will give more illumination. Otherwise better stay below 4300K. You can increase wattage if you want. Stock bulb is 60/55W. I'm using 100/90W now. Just changed bulb. No other modifications. Battery charges good too

Simple test for tuning:
When the engine is warm, with the bike in centre stand (or sit on it), try this...
Twist the throttle slowly to raise rpm to 2K. Keep it at that rpm for 5 sec. Then twist again to raise to 2.5K. Keep it at that rpm for 5 sec. Do like that increasing rpm to 3. 3.5, 4, 4.5K, 5K.....each time keeping 5 sec at each rpm. If your bike does not stay at a particular rpm for 5 sec, tuning is wrong. For example, however hard you may try, it may jump from...say... 2K to 3.5K directly, but will not stay at any rpm in between.

Hi,
is the later part of your post for me.
I do guess so, relevant to my query.
Thank you for the comment will try it out tonight.
and could you say how to tune it correctly cause even a large turn in the idling screw doesn't Chnge the rpm and den a Lil more of turning the screw shoots the rpm from 2 to 3.5 or above.I am not understanding how to correct it.and the service guys says it's normal.rpm jumps all the time.
