Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Yes, it would be paid at the time of delivery. Engine number, Chasis number etc are mentioned on the invoice. You will only get them when you get the bike.Originally posted by pv1984 View PostI paid the OTR price and thought the invoice would be at the time of delivery.

Just spoke to sales guy, he said it would be provided at the time of delivery......
But you have not booked it, you bought it. No worries, but it would have been better if you just gave the booking amount and took the delivery after paying the remaining amount.

I understand but i checked couple of places and they said I would have to pay the complete amount and only then would they send it for registration and hand it over. I offered to pay by check but was asked till the cheque was cleared to process the same.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
This happens when you opt to get registered bike from the showroom. If you opt for Temporary registration bike, they would show you the bike at the time of delivery, take remaining cash. deliver the bike. Give you a Temporary registration number within 2 days. Within next 30 days you would get the Permanent registration, which would be your liability.Originally posted by pv1984 View PostThanks for your reply.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Thinking of changing the Rear tyre(if not the front) , what are the best options ??
I heard Revz-s , Zapper Q ,Dunlop Tuff Grip, PSD ...etc but not able to decide which would be the best.
Looking for a tyre with good grip in dry and wet conditions and preferably not a soft compound one; may be a medium one(not sure if that the word).

Most probably could be dust in the brake setup. So get it checked. Remove pads, rub them against one another and then fix back, or pressure wash. But be careful while riding after pressure wash, the braking efficiency would be a tad bit lesser.
Cheers

Though recommended grade is 20w50 but go for anything which is Xw50 i.e. the viscosity at higher temperature should be 50. Dont alter this viscosity. So going for 10w40 might relatively heat up your engine.Originally posted by Karthi.N View Post20w50 is only our grade na

Thanks spatil1986.
But the rear according to the specification by bajaj is 130/70 - 17, 61 P, Tubeless , so 150/60 isn't exactly the same. Does this cause any issues including the warranty as fitting it with a tyre of different dimensions ?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
@ consciyas: Atleast, you got the gods' blessings. In didn't get even that. After praying to the priests many times to rectify the issues with the god's particle I'm blessed with, which has been giving me headache since the time I bought it in August, till date, but seems like the priests don't bother to attend to the god's particle. Then, in March, I started pleading the god directly through his priests at the customer care, and even they didn't bother to give me their blessings. Lastly, I had to warn them of being an atheist and drag them to the consumer court, and they replied - one Area Manager of Bajaj replied. Asked me to take my particle to the highest temple of the god in Delhi (Bagga Link). Now, my particle is in the temple, and I'm expecting that I'll get my particle back today or by tomorrow with god's blessings. If I don't get god's blessings, I'll turn out to be an atheist.
BTW(I hope this is not SMS lingo), that post was hilarious.
