    Does anybody know how to top up the coolant. The reservoir cap is not easily accessible...

        Guys I have a problem. My ns doesn't start on the first start anymore. I don't use choke and so morning's it's understandable when my bike doesn't start in the first try. So I start it and give it a little throttle. But yesterday even in the evening after I rode my bike for a while and then started it again, it was getting off. Now I know I can adjust the afr ratio and get it to start better (I read this forum a lot ) But is there any other way? And can someone help me with using the choke? I'd like to give it a try as well. You just push/ pull (not sure which one, will check manual) that lever. And then leave it in idle for a while? And then off it and go?

          I did not face this problem ever. It may be due to some spark plug related problem my guess is carbon deposits. Get the plugs checked. Are you running rich? Carbon deposits tend to be more on rich. Changing the slave pulgs to NGK should return better results.

          Take it to the SVC, Even I find it difficult to access it. Let us know if you manage to learn the process.

          Use Duke200's front tyre in the Front and MRF Revs at rear. Mileage would be better as these tyres weigh less than the current stock ones. Which Motul did you put before first servicing? It might delay the run-in process but definitely wont cause any damage to the engine whatsoever.

            Woah woah! It's a new bike! Just had my first service. I don't want a major problem. And I don't want to change spark plugs or anything now. It's my first bike, hence the worries. But if my vehicle is running rich? Shouldn't it start easily? And I don't know what the carbon deposits are? Do I just ask the svc to take a look at it? And off topic : Why doesn't my quote work? :/

                Precisely. Moreover using the choke isn't a big deal. All you need is to pulled that clumsy metal plate as so caklefe choke lever. Use it as how you'd normally use it in a Pulsar 150 and let the bike rev for a while in choke fir a few secs and you're all set.

                Cheers!

                  Hey guys I have done 4495 kms and going for 2nd service and also thinking to change oil... I had dtsi oil poured at 1st service but I am not quite happy with it and more over the oil has completely turned black!! And even in short rides the engine heats up and raditor fan kicks in!!
                  Any suggestion on which oil to use and of wat viscosity? I prefer lil perfomance over smoothness!! And lastly how long that oil would last!! .. In case of heating have checked coolant level and caps etc!! Everythings fine!!

                  Who needs a stereo when you've got a throttle ? :p

                    It's a a well established fact here that the bajaj oil is no good after the initial 1000kms. So extending the oil drain interval by 3k kms was a mistake. You should have changed the oil as soon as it started getting rough. Now for future use , go by Motul 3100, it's mineral but works similar to semi synthetic because of the additives, will last about 3k (to be safe) but it WON'T be good for high revving action. For which you need the Motul 5100 , or higher, and in case of engine oil smoother = more performance. So get the best within your budget.
                    5100= Rs540/liter
                    7100=7xxrs/liter
                    300v=9xxrs/liter
