And wearing a Super-Floater and its a Safety Ride ?

And yea how can I forget.
The headlights are ON to distract oncoming traffic on roads

Here is what we had done recently in Bengaluru.
We thought of an Safety awareness ride about how anyone can ride a bike safely. So we "Naked Wolves" executed this plan and was a grand success, with 50 fellow 200NS riders.

We were featured on News 9.

The idea and coverage was good, but the implementation could have been better..

Turning up to an xbhp group ride in Pune with T shirt and floaters will earn you a swift kick in the butt.
To illustrate, we have sent back members from group rides just because they did not have knee guards (in spite of having helmet, gloves and riding jackets).

Headlights are ON (not high beam) so that the person in front can track you in the rear mirror. A must during group rides with fixed formations.

              Yes bro.
My point of headlight was on those single roads without a divider.

Rest as a guy from that ride said.
They are riding in floaters and Tshirt but I need to grow up.

If I can point out, why can't others ?

              So according to @Sachin Blore,
They are spreading awareness about wearing a helmet with group logo printed Tshirt & jeans matching Floaters.
Other guy wearing a white check-design Shirt with cufflinks folded and converse shoes.

              Gonna save from Crash

If it will save even from a crash on 40-50 speed.
              I'm out of this thread.

                .
                Don’t let this get personal.

It was up to the organizers of the ride to enforce the rules. Like i said before the idea was good. If they convinced someone to wear just a helmet, it is an improvement over no helmet at all.

                  • Hey Monk,

Try removing the Toll kit that u have under the rear seat and check the battery box, that should solve it.

                      Potential Culprits:

                      1. The tool kit under the rear seat - the rubber band had broken and it made a rattling noise over speed breakers
Solution - Remove tool kit. I carry it in my bag.

                      2. Rear seat itself
Solution - Double sided tape at the points where the rear seat rests on the bracket. Also on the hook at the rear.

This removed quite a bit of the vibrations on my bike.

Listen to what the mechanic says and rectify it during next service.
I had a noise coming from the front on bad roads. Replaced front fork oil and steering bearings at 15000km. No noise from the front anymore.

                        Hey,

I've been facing similar issue with my NS, clocked 11000 KM, 75% long and 25% short distances.

The engine runs butter smooth when above 7K mark or at 5K. went to the workshop guys, no idea what they did but the bike started stalling, so went to a local mech who made the mixure a lil lean coz as per him the mixure was rich. hence, maybe if you want to go for a proper tune up, might help.

                        Best of luck

                        To You All !!!

Has anyone faced the tuning issue on NS, If yes, help me to DIY coz i am fed up of the Mechs at Service station.

                        Thanks

Regarding the High Tension wire, it is the wire that connects the Ignition Coil to the Spark plug through the plug cap....again a straight through NON RESISTIVE cable is the best. ...This can be used ONLY if the either the plug cap or the plug contains the 4.7 K Ohms resistor in it...the resistance is to reduce RFI radiation ...too many resistors or too high a value , beyond 4.7 K Ohms will reduce spark energy and power.
A NGK "G" power is a superior plug and gives better acceleration and FE...An Iridium plug gives better spark and LASTS LONGER... Both gives better Cold Start, and reliable ignition.

                          Truth About Ignition Wire Conductors
Psr, I have replaced the 2 slave plugs with NGk plugs suited for the 220. Can you suggest me with which model plug I should replace the master plug?

                            Keep watchin !!!

                            • Dear All,

We are a relatively new group and we have tried to enforce as much safety rules as we can.
Many members who joined the ride were first timers and i am sure all of them learnt something or the other for the better.
Most of the members being students, cash flow is limited but still gears are being bought one by one .
A demo was given about the riding signals and rules to be followed were explained.
There was absolutely zero speeding, no accidents whatsoever(that too in a group of 50 and ride filled with twisties!!!), all group riding rules/signals were strictly followed.
The Nandi Hills route was taken up as this is one of the many busy routes taken up by riders during the weekend and it sees a lot of accidents.
So awareness on this route was very important.
Nothing personal, but comparing the ride to a college ride was totally uncalled for and below the belt.
We are always looking to improve and the comments/feedbacks have been taken in a very positive way.
Hope in our next ride, we dont give any room for complaints.

                              Peace Out!!!

                              Ride safe!!!
                              Cheers!!!
                              Aayush

                                @Sird

We are no posers! Instead of genuine concern, your comment comes across as an attempt to sling mud at us. Its kiddish and immature really.

Good for you that you have a complete set of riding gear, but doesn't mean everybody is as lucky as you. If I had a complete set of riding gear, I would love to wear them.. ATGATT. But I don't have a cash pot hidden somewhere in my cupboard, instead I had to save lunch money for 3 months just to buy a LS2 and a pair of gloves. Please sponsor riding gear for us, we would be absolutely delighted. But if all you can do is just point your finger and laugh, grow up mate. Until then, the gears will come.... one by one after months of saving money.
