My bro got the same thing...those 3 containers....for 400....and yes they do work.Originally posted by Harsh Thanvi View PostGuys got something good
Tried by myself on my Aviator
Few months back there was some spilling of dye (chemical one) on my aviator it looked like some tea spitted
Was not able to remove it
Got one guy today selling this stuff
At goraegaon Petrol pump near Kalyan jewellers he still might be there
It is priced around 700
Works like a charm
Got the dye removed
Some scratches were also removed
IT SHINES LIKE A NEW ONE
The small container is a stain remover with acrylic coat
Left one waterless drywash car cleaner and polish also used fir bikes
Right one is a protector and shine giver

Moving to the NS
Hi guys
I'm planning to make the shift from an R15 2.0 to the 200NS, some of the questions bothering me are:
1. Comfort: I'm 6.2 feet tall and the R15 was never right for me.
2. Mileage: Whats the milage like at normal speeds under 60 in the city?
3. Quality: I've always preferred Honda and Yamaha because of their reputation of high quality, whats the word with this Pulsar, have they done it right?
4. Could someone suggest a good Bajaj dealer in Chennai?
5. Any other issues about the 200NS that I should know about?

1. Yeah i am 6'3 feet tall and ns is just perfect, very comfortable. but pillion seat is bit hardOriginally posted by rcazador View PostHi guys

2. i get mileage around 38-40, best i got was 48.
3. i dont know about that, but there are small issues on a cbr250, r15 and let it be any other bike. pulsars build quality is really good, only the console makes a bit of a sound on bumps, that can be reduced by adding rubber tapes.
4. no idea
5. bit of vibrations, rear tire not that good. and i guess thats the only thing with ns. but they are nothing serious.
i like my ns alot, clocked 650 kms in 20 days
i had some problems but was fine after the 1st service. bike is a power machine, really pulls fast.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
@ rajesh -yes we can and what i meant was we can all decide what we want to do with the problem not that i suggested to go without them.
@ blackthorn - i am aware of those stickers but i think you will agree that then the bike's unique logo takes a beating.what we all expected was the quality to be a little bit more than served since the logo represents the brand itself so bajaj shouldn't have compromised there.Last edited by khunti; 04-27-2013, 01:25 AM.

1. Quite comfortable for you.
2. Varies on the basis of the tuning. But on an average should get between 38-42. Might go even higher.
3. If you just look at the engine, its in the best leagues. Other than that, its fair enough. The vibes in the engine area are caused due wrong tuning of carb. Other panel vibes can be fixed by tightening the nuts and all, or using tapes (which I dont like using - I dont have any disturbing on mine)
4. Someone else better answer this.
5. The tyres are good enough for daily commuting and even spirited riding. Tyres are mediocre for riding in rain and over gravel, etc. Iv got 6k on my odo and running on stock Euros...and Im not a "sedate" rider. No mishaps till now (touch wood!) But still if you want, you can change your tyres...not a big issue.
Engine heating is an issue which people come up with, but its again a tuning related prob.
Bottom Line: No major issues (s\minor ones, if any, can be rectified). Great power, stability and VFM.
I guess its theperformance which represents the brand and not just a logo. The logo aint an issue as much as everyone is talking about. I agree that its not welcoming to see the logo come off/crack, but its easily replaceable.Originally posted by khunti View Post@ rajesh -yes we can and what i meant was we can all decide what we want to do with the problem not that i suggested to go without them.

Re: Moving to the NS
I suggest you wait for 2 months and go for the Duke390. The NS is not really a big upgrade over the R15Originally posted by rcazador View PostHi guys

Anyway,
1)I am 6'3. The NS is perfect for me.
2)I get 30kmpl. Fair enough because I abuse my bike a lot.
3)The service quality is horrible. Compared to Hondas and Yammys, the NS will feel like a lorry. Quality could be much better.
5)The tires are good. Most of the times, NS skids because of extremely hard braking. I have done 3500 on odo, and never had a skid(except a minor one in the starting days). The gears are horribly rough for my bike. The vibes are crazy. And the bike feels miserable if it gets heated up.
I am happy with my bike, except the sounds created by the vibes(in front console and rear fairing).Last edited by Manjunath Jadhav; 04-27-2013, 08:35 AM.

Angel light wont be a problem with cops.
Angel Light means just a ring light around you stock bulb, just the color of your choice.
Google and you get images for reference.

If you are migrating from an R15 to NS - You will be far better off in terms riding comfort and performance. However, buy the NS only, considering that it's all R15 and more, in a package which is way less than the cost of an R15. So, quality, service, tyres and vibes will be an issue, but it's nothing compared what you gain in the bargain. Accept this fact and you will enjoy every bit of 200NS!Been There, Done That; Better!

Re: Moving to the NS
Hi, I've been riding NS for the past 3 months (3000+ kms). I've the same experience as others.Originally posted by rcazador View PostHi guys

Good mileage(25 at full throttle; 40 in town; 55 at 4000rpm),
high end torque(you'll love it)
and handling.
Vibration,
not enough torque at low end(lot of gear changes in town)
and hard suspension.
Also the tyres are not grippy and the turning radius is longer. It's very difficult in the city.
Also, you may not feel it like an upgrade since NS doesn't offer anything huge compared to r15. If possible go for higher options.
I bought it since I didn't have the money to buy cbr250abs. Other bikes didn't feel like vfm. I wish I had enough money so that I can forget about the vfm factor and buy what I wish
Love the ride, not the destination
