With this upgraded fat tyre the bike doesn't act lazy does it ? Also have you changed the front too ? or is it Stock ?

    Hi,

Yes now NS is behaving like a real machine..no negative impression so far.. revz tires are the redial ones, thus traction and grip is great.. it doesn't act lazy , yesterday topped to 143kph at Katraj tunnel without any struggle & wobble, and was more confident have changed the front tire too.. revz 110/70....

It's like a metal rubbing each other right? more prominent when going on rough roads? From the scres below the tank. Open the fibre cover, take out the metal tank and there are a few bolts below. Tighten them and you are done. PS: had the same issue. Rectified from PBK.

Riding is not about destinations, it's about journeys.

I too have the same doubt but to all whom I have talked, they are ignoring the chassis bent option.
All the guys are blindly believing that ns has a very rigid chassis which cannot get faulty....
Chassis like any component will get bent or even go to two pieces if circumstances demand but breaking up is real rare as one can assume can happen only after severe crash. But bend can happen even on some crazy potholes or some impact.

In Coimbatore you have JAIKRISHNA Bajaj real good service and are a good.friend of mine. But where are you from and it's better to call these folks before you make any decision.

You can Google JAIKRISHNA Bajaj or I can PM you all the details.

        Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

So,fitting a tyre with a difference of one mm up or down won't make much of a difference. And to my knowledge, changing tyres won't void warranty. Yes,the roll on acceleration would decrease by an imperceptible amount since the width of the cross section has increased and it's a softer compound, but it's the price you pay for getting better grip.
Correct Boss..changing tires wont void the warranty.. talking abt acceleration, it didn't decrease at all.. but it may be by an imperceptible amount... yesterday easily topped 140+ ...feels very confident ....Its worth every penny...

How about it being a nail magnet ? is it really that bad ??
Were u prone to too much to punctures ?
Also, I remember someone mentioning some kinda "Puncture Prevention" liquid they used , do they work ( and on tubeless)?

Friday is a holiday so i decided try my luck at a newplace i had once lubed the chain. I reached the place around 9.45 AM.They took the bike for a wash. Unlike Auto Service (AS) they didn'thave that the soap/foam gun so they use a bucket. After the washwhile the bike was drying, the owner came by and gave the newspaperand asked me to relax inside. Later they offered me a cup of tea.Once the bike was in the service bay i was watching what was beingdone. They don't recommend Motul (they have stock of Bajaj Oil)however since i had 2 bottles of Motul 5100 they used it without anyfuss. The chap who was working on the bike did everything Mr Babufrom AS did on the 1st service except Oil filter wasn't changed. WhenI asked he said it is not required and I didn't push for it. Then Itook a big risk and told him that my idling might be low since Ineed to twist the Throttle a bit to keep the engine revs at 1500 abit when I start the bike in the morning, which is less of an issuesince summer started. He started the bike and showed me the idlingscrew and increased the idling. I was done by 12PM and I headed homewith the spongy brakes.. 1 thing I hate about services is that thebrakes lose their bite.
Motul has made the gearshifting smoother (surprised, I never noticed a change during the 1stservice when I used the Bajaj Oil). I still find the neutral now andthen when I shift from 1st to 2nd gear.

On my way back Inoticed the revs didn't drop below 3k when I let the throttle go down(I was cursing myself for asking them to fiddle with the idling). Igot home and reduced the idling myself to 1.5k. Today I started thebike and noticed the idling was kinda of low at the start so twistedthe screw to bring up the idling. I seem to have hit sweet spot, letssee how it goes.

I will see if the vibeshave come down since I have Motul and keep you guys posted when mybrakes get their bite back.

                      3rd service done.
                      Poured in MOTUL 5100 15w50.
I must say those who have got NS, must pour in Motul oil.

                      My ride becomes more smoother.
                      Gears become very smooth.
6th gear cruise is awesome now.
Low speeds @ high gears also became smoother.
Engine sound changed. Much more of bass kinda sound now. Lovin it <3
                      Mileage remains same - 45-50km/l.

You could try Kasturba Road Khivraj alot of guys in the Naked Wolves forum talk good things about it. A friend of mine has been servicing his duke at Khivraj Indiranagar with no complains.

This place is located near Kamanhalli called Varadha Enterprises apparently a subsidiary of Kalyani Motors, you would see it on the way from Lingarajpuram Flyover to Hennur. Once you come down the flyover you look for shell petrol pump which comes on your left side of the road after a curve. Then look for the Traffic Signal past shell ( 200 meters) and then look to your right side it should come up soon after the signal. Small place no booking required because they don't seem to have heavy load of customers. I think they are good for basic service, but if you were not happy with Auto Service try the 1st option i mentioned.

Btw are you the DOCTOR? at CVG?

today after traveling for 60 kms on the highway i reach home and when i went to park my bike, after revving the engine i hear this weird hummm sound. i revved it fully and when i release the throttle the hummm sound comes, its like some resonance sound. this happened literally everytime i released after revving. is this normal? what is exactly happening and how to fix it?

Got the bike delivered yesterday, happy with it so far.
Already 120km on ODO, everything seems ok except that there is a noise when traveling below 20kmph irrespective of the gear i am in. Noise sounds like a whistle(continous). When checked with the svc they said that the brakes have to set in yet and hence it would take time.
Hope that is wat it is.

As far as run in , currently shifting at 3.5-4.5k's, didn't cross 55.
Is the shifting Ok, or should I shift below 3.5k ?
