    1. My friend is fed up he is just getting 25 km/ltr from the day he got his bike he has done 4000 km till now. He has done a lot and asked me to ask u all what could be the problem.
    2. A new machine in the same frame is going to be launched by bajaj soon pulsar 180 ns.
    Response below :

    1) As per the mileage being low, that is way too low. Have him check the tuning of the Carb. Also depends on the riding style but its way too low.
    2) Regarding Pulsar 180 ns , there is no confirmation from Bajaj about the same. It might be 180 or 150 or sub 200cc bike.

also the tire pressure affects mileage right ? also plz ask your friends to make minimal use of the brakes. don't shift too much.

Edit: I almost never experience B2B traffic so it wouldn't be of much use to me. I was wondering if this might help those who actually do.
Heat is heat no matter what, all you can do is reduce the perforation of heat to the tube to air. But one thing you need to keep in mind, the heat transferring into the pipe isn't gonna heat the air to super temperatures, it's just very minimal. But if you use a thermal insulation it *will reduce* the heat transfer dissipated from the engine. You got what I mean? Simple and trust me you won't see any difference even after the jugaad fix.

Low tire pressure means more workload for the engine, which means more power required to move the bike which equals more fuel consumption which ultimately equates to LOW MILEAGE.

Any one here knows where can I get "3M Imperial wetordry automotive sandpaper" in bangalore. My bike happened to fall down and got some scratches on head lamp, I found that there is no way to replace just the head light glass, itseems that the whole dome has to be replaced, since the scratch is very minimal its not worth of replacing the whole dome. I did a quick google search and found using this sand paper scratches on the glass can be removed but found it no were in bangalore, Or is there any ways I can get rid of the scratch from my headlamp.??

          Thanks.

So you mean to say you know cases where that's happened?

Your bike will try its best to not to oveheat with the cooling system it has either air or liquid. But then if all else fails, it will give you sluggish performance, and if it keeps running on and on, the engine will seize abrupt.

I feel that would happen in worst conditions only. But aren't we supposed to see a blinking high temperature warning in the console before things go that bad ? Why don't you tell us what actually happened with your bike .. oh btw this summer is at it's peak.. and man that radiator fan WORKS!

Lately there's some buzzing vibe noise from the rear seat cowl but I guess tightening up a few bolts should do the job. I located the source but I don't have the right tools for it yet.

Have you ever ridden other Pulsars ???
                                ie 150, 180 or 220 ??
Can you compare with those ( vibrations; not vibrating sound )

In my knowledge, it will increase, because less clutch is used.
                                of-course Nooooo !!!!!!!!!!
It will decrease your clutch plate mileage, nothing more.
There is is "point" where we can shift gear without clutch. You have to be used to it, to reduce wear&tear
Bus drivers usually shift gears without using clutch

By my knowledge, it is not a fault by the petrol. (may be the quantity )

Are you new to Pulsar ???
                                It is noisy
P200NS is more noisy by its drive chain. let it lubricated every 300 KMs
I suggest "release-on" chain lube, which is economical & great. I haven't used Motul
