Hello guys, recently upgraded my bike's exhaust to an aftermarket replica of Akrapovic. Total cost was 4000 inc fitting. Could someone please share some knowledge about tuning the AFR ? As i have heard that after installing an aftermarket free flow exhaust, you need to tune the AFR as well as upgrade the Air Filter. is this true ? i was thinking of upgrading the stock air filter to K&N BA 2012 which is specially designed for the 200 NS. Local store quoted Rs 4000

HI All..i need some clarity and advice. I have Pulsar 200NS RED. It has done an awesum 13 K +. I have a problem now, the gear shift from 2nd to 3rd is not being done properly. I mean there is a slip every time i tried to change from 2nd to 3rd. It gets shifted to 3rd and then rolls back to 2nd. I had mi doubts on the chains and the sprockets but when check with the mechanic he said that it is not the sprockets and it is the problem with the engine and it needs to be opened. I'm worried now, is this really the problem with the Engine or i need to check with other mechanic or showroom? (Honestly i dont trust showroom guys, they are the reason I'm taking the bike outside)

        Please advice!!!

Change the gear spring and, SVC guy told me to do that if any issues with gear shifts.
          Won't cost much.

Use full clutch, pull the cltuch completely.

              Hi Aditya,

I shift gear with full clutch only, but still the gear shifts are hard.

Check for engine oil level. Once it happened with my bike when engine oil level had dropped due to a leak.

Check the right side crank case, there is the oil window, there is 2 horizontal lines there on the side of the glass, the oil must between these lines.

While checking this bike must be perpendicular to the ground and the surface underneath the bike must be flat.

                      Hope this helps.

Hardly takes 10 secs secs bro.... Just put it in center stand if you have..... If you don't then tell some one to hold it straight on the ground... and then check the level after 10 secs.....

If you meant how many minutes the bike needs to be kept "ON", then let me add that for checking your oil level bike should be OFF, and preferably give it some time after switching off. Because if the engine is ON or if you just returned from a drive, then oil will still be circulating and will not show up the exact quantity on the inspector window.

The rest method is exactly what fellow Xbhpians have already qouted.
