If you meant how many minutes the bike needs to be kept "ON", then let me add that for checking your oil level bike should be OFF, and preferably give it some time after switching off. Because if the engine is ON or if you just returned from a drive, then oil will still be circulating and will not show up the exact quantity on the inspector window.

The rest method is exactly what fellow Xbhpians have already qouted.

I have finalized that my next bike is going to be NS200. So I'm not here for bike suggestion, but some advice.


I was expecting that the 2017 NS200 will come equipped with ABS. I expected that it will be oferred as an option at least when
I saw the stickering on the console which read as "JLA/K4 N ABS". I have waited till now. But there seems to be no sign of it.


From last one and half month, I have been messaging on Bajaj's facebook page, commenting on each post and emailed them nearly 5-6
times and called them 2 times to take it as a feedback to release the ABS version in india also.


I also saw that there were many people who were commenting on their fb page for ABS version.




I currently have a UNICORN 160, So my doubt is whether to buy the NS200 now or wait for another few months??


Is any one out here in the same boat as me?? If yes please call the Bajaj Customer care toll free number 1800 233 2453
and tell them that to take it as a feedback.


The reason why i'm worried we can't fit it once we purchase it. ABS may not be useful in all the situations, But
definitely it will be helpful in at least one situation where our time is bad.






PS: please don't suggest to go for D400(out of budget), RS200(Naked priority) and RTR200 and 180(Do not like them).

Sure Will buy NS only..... But will wait for some time... My heart says somewhere to wait still 2 to 3 months... But I'm sending the mail daily to them [emoji14] ... Those guys should be fed up of me

Bajaj won't come up with ABS until there is a drop in sales. It's has been bajaj's strategy since long to get sales first from base variant and then they release top variant.
Bajaj being gaint they don't give shit to our suggestion emails. They will do it when they feel it the right time for them (profitable to company).

I purchased a new NS200 6 days before, I was having smooth gear shifts till first 6days of running.But now I am facing very hard gear shifts with the bike. I need to press hard to get the gears shifted. It has hardly run 92kms.
Need help from you'll everyone regarding this.

Correct. NS costs 97k so it won't fall under this provision.

NS 200 with ABS will obviously be >100k so that will surely fall under this provision, but can't help as bajaj hasn't yet made it available.
