Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
In my bike, Nov 2014, if I switch off the key (while the fan is running) and turn the key on again (no starting up), the radiator fan starts to run. Haven't checked what happens if I turn off the engine with the kill switch.Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostDoubt:- Suppose if the radiator fan is running and I switch off the ignition but the bike is still on but only on battery will the fan will still keep running or it comes on only when the engine is running?

Yeah earlier when the fan used come on it kept running while the engine was off but now the fan doesn't start when the key is in "on" position (engine not running). What could be the?Originally posted by krixna View PostIn my bike, Nov 2014, if I switch off the key (while the fan is running) and turn the key on again (no starting up), the radiator fan starts to run. Also I have noticed one thing that when the radiator fan kicks in rpm drops dramatically (while bike is idling).

Well, if you can find a LED with a low beam that hits only the ground and has no glare, well, go for it if you think it has good lighting. Personally, I haven't seen a LED so far that gives good light plus no glare.
(Sorry, couldn't find the original post from this app, so I'm expressing my views in your post)At one point, i was considering an led headlamp. Dropped the plan eventually. My research took me to various websites. The one type of led headlight that grabbed my attention was one made by GE. GE Nighthawk led headlights. With high and low beams. But it comes with its own concave reflector unit. But its not available in India I guess.Originally posted by gunner143 View PostWell thats the plan exactly , i am not buying one from from a cheap local store.
Im importing one from a reputed one, and yes the glare is well in control. Cutoff isnt as good as halogen but it is pretty near.
Intention is to achieve a setup that has max light 'on' the road and to save amps on battery so that i can better wattage spot lamps since i will be saving amps by using a led bulb in headlamp instead of halogen.
I personally feel that LED headlight technology is still in its infancy. Expensive and not yet readily available.Your bike is a part of you....

Fan draws alot of power..Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostYeah earlier when the fan used come on it kept running while the engine was off but now the fan doesn't start when the key is in "on" position (engine not running). What could be the?

Hence drop in rpm..
Fan stays on without engine when it is to much heated up..
Happens with me to especially in city..

Yes, you cannot adjust stock handlebar. The handlebar risers need to be shortened in case you want to lower the bars which could then cause an issue of the handlebar hitting the fairing when fully turned.Originally posted by vvk1999 View PostI think its impossible to adjust the stock handlebar , correct me it i m wrong.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
You would have around 3 inches from the current halogen light plug and that too only if you shift the wires to make space.Originally posted by gunner143 View PostNow that is pretty tightly packed. Cudnt even make out from where the headlamp is inserted !!
I dont think we will be able to use a led headlamp with a big heat sink behind it.
Will remove the headlight tomorrow to take a closer look.

Yea, it did touch the tank when tried to turn. Was just checking it out today.Originally posted by GauravD View PostYes, you cannot adjust stock handlebar. Now as this has failed, am thinking of ditching the clip ons and going for a bar handle 😁

Bro lemme know if you are able to succesfully get that done. Im wanting to go for a single handlebar but for lack of ideas and experienced guys who can help me am holding off on that.

I prefer the visual appeal of the clip ons but you cant beat the good old handlebars in terms of functionality. Have to agree with you on this. Bought a mobile holder for my NS and now its just lying inside my drawer. The space on the clip ons is too narrow for placing anything.Originally posted by gunner143 View PostI wud love to see the good old handlebars, atleast i would be able to use a mobile holder or maybe a usb charging point.

Yeah me too. But i used a mobile holder and a mobile charging port even before i moved to getting a crossbar.Originally posted by gunner143 View PostI wud love to see the good old handlebars, atleast i would be able to use a mobile holder or maybe a usb charging point.
The usb charger fits on the vacant area beside the switch and the mobile mount ? Got a one which used the mirror stem nut as a base.
