Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
With time, the resale will still reduce.not to forget new ns and cs400 are planned..... r&d, well nice to hear, but hurts when I think about the money [emoji33]Originally posted by amarme001 View PostIts sitting nicely under wraps as I have stopped using it because of summer heat and selling it has become a nightmare as not getting a good resale value as its a bajaj
So its still on for sale and I am thinking of keeping it and will try for exchange for a new bike after summer or will keep it as a project bike and will experiment on it

Ok, so the fairing comes along with tank mount together?.Originally posted by krixna View PostTwo bolts for the fairing, size 10, above the radiator (one is near radiator cap, one on left side of bike). Do not remove any other 10 size bolts!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello Riders.
As i left to middle east for a job, my pulsar 200 NS has been kept aside since last 9 months. Before leaving, i actually was willing to get the bike serviced once and disconnect the terminals of battery and empty the fuel tank before i leave. But this did not happen unfortunately. The bike has been kept aside with around 300 ml fuel in tank, engine oil unchanged, battery connected and with a wheel lock & body cover. Now, as my brother is willing to ride the bike, i would like to know what all needs to be done. I hope the battery surely may have lost its charge. Incase if the battery is gone, what would be its price? I expect the carburetor too needs a clean. And as i am not that aware of coolant, what needs to be done for coolant, should it be changed too? My bike has just done 5k kms.
Experts, please reply on all tips on how to bring back the bike in good hassle-free condition.
Thanks in advance.Royal Enfield Bullet Standard 350cc 1989, Bajaj Avenger 200-2009, Pulsar 200 NS 2015.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Okay that's very bad to hear. I don't have experience beyond 22 days on my NS, but besides 22 days, she came to life in one click of the button. Anyway, coming to your point, I faced the same problem with my Disco 125. I kept it for close to a year. So here are the things that are most concernedOriginally posted by Touseef Ahmed Mohammed View PostHello Riders.

Thanks in advance.
1. Tyre almost flattened, rubbers look kind of molded
2. Excessive dust, cleaning took more than an 30 mins, now think about NS
3. Fuel was very less, about half a liter, but bike never came to life even after kicking for several minutes (might have kicked 100 times or more), only I was sweating. After several attempt, the bike started and dies immediately. The same happened everytime after on and I could never bring it back to life
4. Everytime it started, the exhaust smell was unbearably bad and the gas was black in color
--> took to service center
Problems and remedies
1. Tank was full of rust formation, they cleaned it but rusting was not fully removable as I didn't want to replace new
2. Carb completely needed cleaning, as fuel has formed as muck, smells bad
3. Chain also was stuck due to excessive dust, even after cleaning, I could see it making noise
4. Change of engine oil, air and oil filter
5. Engine valves were not working (don't know how it is related to prolonged storage) properly as per timing chain, hence needed repalcement
6. battery completely drained and battery terminals were corroded
7. carb had to be re-tuned and I lost my mileage (though you can opt it out)
I couldn't recall the rest, but got a huge bill of 3800+ (including battery). My advice is, don't start. Because, the fuel that you have left could have formed like a glue and the oil too would have been the same (esp on cold places or seasons). running the engine with battery charged externally might be RISKY.
Take it to nearby SVC with the help of another two wheeler. just tell them that vehicle stored for prolonged time.
Let them handle that. Ask them to clean carb if required, but not to adjust the pilot jet.

I know that's y will give it for exchange or keep as project bike.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostWith time, the resale will still reduce.not to forget new ns and cs400 are planned..... r&d, well nice to hear, but hurts when I think about the money [emoji33]
Have lots of crazy ideas for the bike.
I love the engine of RS, but I love the looks of NS. Especially the rare..a perfect pulsar.
Best new designe pulsar is NS hope bajaj soon launches it with Fi and abs.
I was searching for a rear reflector mount of NS but service guy said it's not available as spare, can anyone confirm.

I also went to the SVC at Phoenix in Lower Parel... Asked around three mechanics.. all of them looked at each other like clueless chickens..
Was hoping someone on the forum who has done the coolant change before.. may be able to help me on this.NeVi77e

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
For me rear eurogrip took 25k to wear out completely and 33k for front to wear out,😂Originally posted by krixna View PostBro

It was me who posted first here about my low pressure experiments (26-28 psi rear, 22 front) with Eurogrips!
But still cornering sucks. And bledy hell, I've done 10K now and the tyres look brand new. :banghead:
But its one tough tyre i would say. In entire life of it had only 2 punctures at back..
Where i am running 2 set of mrfs at back because of to many punctures and leaks.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I showed the same picture minus the part numbers but he said it's not available, my bad luck only one probiking in vizag and no other showrooms keep spares of 200ns and above bikes as it's not serviced there. Will go and try again with part number. Thanks for the parts number.Originally posted by krixna View PostKick the service guy. Here it is:
Will definitely or will wait for cs400 considering its being tested may reach sooner than 200 NS FiOriginally posted by jbm_guy View PostMaybe you wait for ns fi....and swap for it....
