I did but got the usual response when they do not want to delve deeper into the issue - Sahi toh hai ! Aisa toh sabhi NS mein hai ... itna hi hona chahiye....Originally posted by krixna View Post

Ok, let me see tomorrowOriginally posted by NeVi77e View PostThanks krixna...
I hope I'm not asking a lot.. but would it be possible for you to draw a rough diagram on how to connect the relay to the existing system..
maybe this this the last straw for me to make the mechanic understand the setup..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
There already is a washer above the lock on the needle. No harm in removing it and putting it under the spacer (check pic posted earlier)Originally posted by GauravD View PostI did but got the usual response when they do not want to delve deeper into the issue - Sahi toh hai ! Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey guys,
I recently replaced my bike's engine oil to MOTUL 7100 20W50 as the ride was not smooth and tired of Bajaj oil.My odo is around 11k.I get a decent mileage of around 40kmpl.Now after replacing the engine oil the gear shifts have got smooth, clutch control is better but the vibrations at the handle bar and footpegs have increased. They vibrate a lot even at 55kmph.why is that so?! Any suggestions or solutions??

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Tune to get 1.6. 45-50kpl is insane amount for ns. Thats too 15k km+ old machine you can't get closer. Initial days mine used to give 41-45, but after run in, it has set to 35 on average and 32 on aggressive driving. Adjust afr to meet 1.6-1.8Originally posted by vvk1999 View PostPls help guys
I am getting too low fe, 30kmpl [emoji17] ,
whatever may be the riding style. I change the gear @4-5k rpm , dont lug the engine. Afr screw is set @ 2.5-3 turns using the digital tachometer & co is @ 2.0 . Bike pick up is good , chain is ok. Odo reads 16k kms now . Bought it when odo was 14k kms . Oil is motul 7100 just 2k kms old . Valve settings done . Just need to change the air filter & spark plugs (as per manual @15k km) . Front wheel is somewhat heavy to rotate freely . Rear is fine.
I am really concerned about its FE , since my earlier p220 used to give 40kmpl.
My daily commute is about 100km & its really making me annoying with 30kmpl.
My friends get easily 45-50kmpl from their ns/As on same route.
What went wrong , I dont understand ?
And expect a decent returns...my friends fz gives 45-50 [emoji6]

It's not giving the same result for everyone.....though all engines are made the same way, they still behave uniquely.Originally posted by vishanth View PostHey guys,

Mine after 7100, harshness reduced, got smoothness, high revs are good, but gear box isn't smoother, geTting false neutrals, fan kicks in even in Bangalore weather which wasn't there when I was at Chennai(hotter).... mileage yet to be checked...

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences

Nearing 23k kms.
Bike running great, giving consistent mileage of 38-40 under mixed conditions,
Still running on stock chainset and i believe it is good for another 10k kms.
Recently did Nagpur to agra (880) kms in one day and NS is such a great bike to ride on highways, did 110-120 for 50-60 kms continuously and NS did it without breaking a sweat.

1. Reduce CO tuning to 1.6 which is factory setting. I would say a max of 1.8 but not more than that. Higher CO leads to higher adverse impact on FE.
2. The heaviness on front wheel also could be impacting FE coz of extra load on engine. What is the rpm you reach 100 at ? It should touch 100 at 6.8-7k revs. Get either disc pads and the bearings of the wheel checked.
Rest all seems fine. Let us know what you find ... Cheers !
If these things don't sort out the low fe problem i will overgear it to give decent mileage by changing sprocket to 36 teeth + 130/80 rear tyre .Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostTune to get 1.6. 45-50kpl is insane amount for ns.
