I heard from one of my friend that I should use Bajaj 10000 oil till the free services and after that I can change to MOTUL 7100. He suggested this becoz of the warranty being void if we don't stick to the bajaj oil till the 3 free services...

What you guys suggest?? Use MOTUL 7100 right from now on or switch to it after the 3 free services??

PS: Can't afford both of these by changing it after the service is done.
Full synthetic oils should be used only after a minimum of 5000kms. Using it earlier will cause cylinder Glazing. Regarding the warranty one, using the same grade oil won't void the warranty. But, not all the SVC will respond with the same answer when asked about warranty. In fact I used to fill MOTUL 7100 from my SVC itself, since it's a combined KTM SVC

4.what should be replaced ? can you please be my sweet angel and list out all things i should replace or check/replace at this stage?
5. my mech tried replacing the master spark plug , but he couldnt open it and tolf mr that if he will apply too much pressure it will break inside and only way is to go to the karanchi wala (skilled welder) and break the spark plug and then remove it by weld). can you please tell me what should i do ?? how should i open my matser spark plug as he said it hasnt been opened since 4 years.
6. any other suggestions please i can spend whatever amount is needed to get the beast in its full glory again and i would like to have it done in a one time work.?

Absolutely correct its good to use semi synthetic oil after first 5000 kms. Dude are you from madurai ? In which service center they are using motul for bajaj bikes?

Congrats dude. I too felt the same when I was riding from showroom to home in heavy traffic for around 14 kms.

Yes I'm from Madurai. RK Bajaj near Niramla school, Teppakulam. I used to get it from there. But, now the showroom is no more a combined KTM service centre. Also, I won't prefer them anyway.

They just do waterwash and will return the bike like it is serviced. Should have ended up in a fatal accident because of their negligence.

Full story : After my 5 th service, took my bike to kodaikanal for a spin the next day. While returning, the bolts from the front brake caliper came off. Somehow, the sound alerted me and I the checked the bike and tightened the bolts. What would have happened if I hadn't noticed them and the brake came off during the down hill ride.

No service centre in Madurai does the job well. They are just a bunch lazy morons.

Long time no see bro. Highly knowledgeable members such as krixna, jbm_guy aren't much active. Since you said it's a urgent request, I'll answer to my knowledge.

1. Check the front fork oil seal. If it's broke, the front fork will wobble up and down to much for even a small bump and gives a fearsome feel. Or it may be the whole coneset.

2. I don't know bro. But, you can try changing the bulbs. The wires for the rear indicators are under the pillion seat. May be the wire got cut in there.

3. Have you changed the brake pad ? Does the brake gives ringing sound while applying ? If so, get the brake pads Changed.

4. From what I've seen in the forum, changing the "Timing Chain" restores the lossy acceleration to some extent. For other things, they needs to be changed, please check the owners manual.

5. No idea. But I got my Main spark plug changed at SVC.

I hope this gives you an idea at least

Thanks for responding. No its not a problem of forks but cone set. Should I get it replaced or if tightening it works, should I just manage by tightening it?

No idea bro. The last time I replaced it at 17K kms coz the handle didn't had free movement. And it took 2 hours for the mechanic guy to replace it.

Does coolant needs replacement after 15000 and 4 years? I have never felt any hear whatsoever even in bumper to bumper delhi traffic.

Manual says to get it replaced after 10K kms. It's 90rs. It's better to be safe, I suppose. Just get it replaced

Also svc said rear fork is leaking, but I have no problems with it. What should be done?

If you aren't facing any problem then leave them as it is. Just try reaching above 120+ and see if the bike is stable. Shock setting Normal. Also, check if you have any oil leak as the SVC says. If you are comfortable with this, I think it can last some more kms

P.S: Shock absorber reconditioning is a scam.

Yes It's true about the RC... Rest depends upon your manager how much he's telling the truth.... But don't worry just keep asking them if they don't
