Different world these people are from. Once again proves that if you take care of your bike she'll take care of you.

That's way too much. It needs to be just over the minimum mark. No need to drain it though. There's an overflow pipe which will take care of it.

ECR week end ride with my buddies who owns KTM and CBR250. They became enemy at the end of the ride as I was not crossing 48 KMPH mark.

                Guys please suggest and help
Should I keep my speeds below 40kmph
Or should I keep it between 40-50kmph mark
Also should I do that or keep maintain my RPM level at 3.5-4k??
Should I control the RPM or the speedometer indicated speed
Because I've ridden 160 kms until now and while not concentrating on speedometer, my bike does 50+ in 3.5-4k RPM
SO WHAT SHOULD I SEE RPM OR THE SPEED??

Just don't try to cross the 5K mark. Shift gears at 4K.. Occasional short bursts to 6 or 7K won't harm. After the first service you can increase the RPM limit between 5 to 6K. These aren't hard rules though..

Don't maintain constant speed for a long time. Try to use the whole RPM range within 4K and use all the gears...

Bro what will happen if I maintain same speed for longer time ?? Also please tell me how to use entire rpm under 4k?? How to do that? I didn't understand you completely bro?

The very reason we are said to not maintain speed is as below. Initially, the new Engine will have small burs in the Engine. These burs will get smoothened with usage. While revving and driving, a specific part of the Engine will have more stress, So driving in Constant speed (RPM) for a long time means, some parts of the Engine will have more wear than the rest. So, in order to have equal wear and tear throughout the Engine, we are expected not to remain in same RPM for long time and to maintain RPM within 5K RPM. Revving high will also cause Engine heat and Glazing of the cylinder surface. Although occasional short bursts won't do any harm.

To use the whole range means, Use all the gears and shift to next gear at 4K rpm. This means you have to drive within 0 to 56KmpH (Speed at 4K RPM and 6th gear in NS) Just drive in the city. In highway, we'll end up staying constant speed.

Simple, Don't pamper your bike to drive slow and don't go revving her to the redline either

Hey mate thanks a lot bro 😍😍😍😍 cool to learn and to get to know things about machines from the forum and from you all😘😘also bro, if I engage 6th gear then the bike lags and is sluggish....and till now from day one I do hear click sounds from my gear, whether I up shift o down shift... Is the sound normal or will it fade away after 1st service??

Change from 5th to 6th after crossing 42 -ish so engine won't stutter. And I have a feeling gear shift sounds will persist knowing Bajaj bikes. Although I hope gear shifts soften out a little.

That sound is not going anywhere. Regular servicing will help keep it down. Done 15k, still have it
