    This may sound lame....but I am wondering what is the mileage of this bike on highways ? Is it really possible to extract 50kmpl on this , as advertised ( in best conditions) ?

      Ppssible. Just limit yourself to 80 to 85 kmph in 6th over long distances with linear acceleration.

      Sent from my phone. Kindly avoid it while riding.

        I do feel vibrations only when I hug my thighs on to it, else nothing much.

        I have got 46~48kmpl when driven 50~60kmph (in city+highway ~35km oneway to my office). Bajaj pulsar user guide suggests riders to ride at 50kmph (as a good habit ). I hope riding in highway at this speed will surely exceed 50+kmpl for me. I'm yet to try.

            Is your tank part very shaky?, I mean is it fastened tight or are you able to joggle with hand?. My friend's Fz had such problem once.

              Its not shaky. It is giving me problem only on the right lower side of the tank and as i press my hand or thigh against it, it stops vibrating.

              Both left and right side of tank are little shaky with hands but that is normal gap in my opinion.

              Went to svc twice and they tried to screw the bolts tight and everything but the problem reocurrs everytime. At the end the svc guy said that these are fibre products and bound to get noisy with time.

              Hence asking for a solution and also looking for exact tool to open my tank (it is allen key 6 if i'm not wrong).

                  Can be done but you will be better off selling the ns and buying the ss if fuel injection is such a necessity.

                            Just saw, looks like an exact replacement for P220, but however I doubt if it will ever make it's debut in India, as it was not showcased in any of the earlier Bajaj shows as like for ss and cs...

                              My bike is from the 2012 lot and so far i had no trouble. But yesterday i saw some oil leakage around the engine and on exploring further i found that it was from the air filter compartment. So i went through the hassle of removing the petrol tank and on opening the air filter compartment i was shocked to find it filled with engine oil. It was a good 200ml or so.
                              Now the nearest service centre, which is about 100 kms away, says that their 200NS mechanic met with an accident and won't be available for 2 weeks....minimum. And there is no one else capable of dealing with NS's engine.
                              I am totally clueless what to do in all this time. Someone please guide. Since my oil level was reduced, i topped it up. And I am sure it is not a case of adding excess oil like i read somewhere that in case of too much oil in engine some are blown out through the air filter route.
                              What could be the reason? My bike is 15k on odo.
                              Did you change Engine oil recently? I had the same problem when my bike was serviced. Mechanic had forgot to sealant thereby resulting in engine oil leak.

                              • want to upgrade my p200 ns with K&N air filters and more

                                Dear Riders,

                                I owned a P200NS, and i need your advice on (I am located in Bharuch near Vadodara and surat).

                                1) I want to upgrade my bike;
                                2) I am thinking to go with K&N air filters (But i heard that using of K&N reduce engine life and damage engines).
                                3) Can i go for the custom Exhaust (If yes than which and from where should i get it)

                                Any other suggestions are also been highly appreciated;

                                Regards
