My bike is the old model (2012) and I am having the exact opposite issue: My yellow light starts to glow when two bar left in the gauge and my bike is still running in 'on' . Not yet hit reservere. Now my doubt is could it be like the fuel knob is faulty and bike is already running on reserve...

Check your position of fuel knob..
And yes the light comes on when less than 3 bars of fuel is left..
I hit reserve when the second bar goes away ( not precisely) and the fuel gauge indicator also depends whether the bike is titled either side or straight..

I have checked for this fuel light issue when i went to purchase fuses at svc..
The light does come up in new batch of ns when fuel indication is less than 3 bars..
And blinks when rpm limiter is hit..

and I too do not beleive in hid projector bs anymore. it's useless unless you get the real expensive stuff.

I don't own ns but my friend does. He is running this setup and the output is impressive. Will post a picture later.

I tried BMW d2s bixenon projector and 55 watt hid. The lowbeams are beautiful but the higbeams, I don't find them comfortable.

Anyone else faced the similar issue?

When, I downshift from 2->1 or sometimes even 3->2, the gear lever gets stuck somewhere in the middle, and I have to frantically keep tapping it, but it remains stuck. The issue is solved when I let go of the clutch a bit, and accelerate when the gear lever gives a sharp knock and falls right in place.

This is a very dangerous scenario as sometimes my mind is on the gear when it does not downshift properly instead of being on the road.

I live in Bangalore and bought the bike from Sarjapur Amba Bajaj. They haven't been able to fix it as they can't understand what the problem is. This seems to happen only after riding the bike for a bit in traffic. I got it checked from HSR Amba Bajaj too, but they were of no help either.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is and where can I get it fixed from?

            Thanks!
i think its the clutch wire get it adjusted .

yes same thing happens to me even after using all the fule in the tank (not a issue for me at all)
and i think its with the new batch, that it only glows on the rpm limit.

Can anyone advise as to which one is the best? The Bosch ones that you've suggested or the Osram Night Breaker Plus?

Is it advisable to retro fit ABS? I see ABS part being sold on eBay. Is this fine? :O

The answer to your first question is osram night breaker plus since it comes in the stock 60/55 setup and therefore happens to be plug and play unlike Bosch which is a 100/60 watt bulb that will for sure ruin you bike's reflector. If you want powerful lights go for an HID kit (I think it means high intensity diode, I could be wrong though) with a projector, probably gonna cost you 1000-1200 for a good enough cheap setup, a bit more for better setups.

As to your second query, ABS found on eBay is some Chinese shit. Don't use that stuff. It'll ruin your brakes. The Chinese setup works by bleeding your brake just a tiny bit to make the brake have less bite which could malfunction and bleed the brake completely. That means having brake fluid all over the bike in best case and worst case would be an accident.

Surprisingly the reflector is able to withstand 100/90 very well and there is not even a single hint of it getting damaged. Its been 6 months and 4 or 5 nonstop rides of 3+ hours during nights with 100/90.
The new reflector costs around 1250 and my friend was ready to take the risk installing 100/90 and it paid off.

Will it be a good option if i am looking for a better grip?I am currently getting around 38- 42 mileage. Will changing to dunlop reduce mileage?
Dulop Tuff Grip is better than Euroslip but i can't vouch that its the best of all. Even MRF has a issue in wet condition. If you check back most of 'em has recommended Michelin Pilot Sporty. Can't find any Michelin in my city so i booked for Pirelli Diablo Rosso 140/70-17. Look around for it as i assume that it'll cost equal to michelin. About braking i think you're using rear too much. In case of emergency feel free to engine brake with rear and front combo depending on the condition of the road.

If you want good visibility at all times, go for 4300k temperature bulbs(normal light yellow shade). White bulbs(blue coated) lights scatter during rainy or foggy situation making them useless. Also, their light output is lower than normal lights of same power since the blue color filters some light away. Even projectors with 4300k color are difficult to find but it's worth the effort though it's costly.

Its not the best option in HIDs. Why don't you go through the lighting thread for definitive answers. Its got a lot of good products and reviews with long term user reviews and prices as well.
But if you ask me I'd say go for Phillips HID. Can't go wrong with a branded product.

exactly! The white light only looks good, doesn't help you in seeing things properly!
