Thanks for your input @MarkNS ..I do agree with some parts of your comparison and I'd love to discuss more about it, but despite what my name may suggest, I'd rather not go offtopic here..

However, I have put up a thread on [What Bike?] to get an answer to this question. Fingers crossed, it should get approved

Offtopic: I can see my display picture on my profile page but not on the forum threads. Why is that?

Guys did My first 500Kms on the ODO. My blue bird feels superb. Since it was new I didn't took it 5K RPM except some occasional speed bursts to 8K RPM not lasting for more than a second. The bike at first felt heavy because of it's tall stature. But Now I got used to this and it's a GEM. Surely a VFM bike. This is My first bike.

Everything went fine Until the first service. Did My first service today at the SVC. That's all. I don't know what they had done to My NS. Now it keeps vibrating even at lower speeds.

I can't even place My legs on the Gear lever and Rear brake lever. It's unbearable. The Vibration is kind of like some ringing (I don't know how to explain) . And just within 7Kms the Radiator fan started to Run. I lost the Hope that the SVC guys can help me with this. Help Me with this buddies.

Sorry to hear that bro, but I also own the blue bird & Same experience with SVC. They are worst.
Very poor mechanics. Same happened with my NS after 1st service.
I think its because of chain tension is quite tight which cause the vibrations, else the brake pads must be rubbing the disc.
Tell them to loosen the chain tension a bit and rub the brake pads on sand paper. You'll no longer face vibrations!

How much is the cost bro? Will any tyre shop take the stock ones back for some price if they are brand new.

Sunil, even I'm in the process of changing my tyres, this being one of the probable candidates. But can you tell me what was your reason to go for these instead of the Michelin Pilot Street Radials? I have shortlisted Pilot Sporty, Pilot Street (which will burn my pocket) and Ceat Zoom XL.

I was a bit hesitant to go for these as the tread is not really deep, which made me feel that the life of the tyre is not going to be very much, and also, it won't help disperse water that efficiently. Both the Michelins have deeper grooves. But I've got negative feedback about Pilot Sporty as well, in the sense that they lack grip on wet surfaces.

The only option without a negative feedback is Pilot Street radial. But quality comes at a price, I guess.

Anyway, I've deviated from the question. Your reason to choose these over others?

                  P. S. If anyone else can shed some light on this, I'd really appreciate that.

Also please tell if the 140/70 rear affects handling in any way.

I am also lookin for new tyres, the other options that i have in mind are mrf zapper fx (f) revz s (r), street radials are best in the business but they a bit too costly for me, and feedback for pilot sporty is not very good.
                  Thanks guys!

The reasons for getting ceat tyres were primary official, apart my personal experience with ceat earlier.

Ceat being our partner, we get to test the tyres from them quite often, so is the case now!

I have used ceat secura earlier in my p150 earlier and the vertigo in the Duke 200. More than happy with the results.

So have opted once again for the ceat.

The results are satisfying. There hasn't been any change in handling from the stock tyres. The handling is completely neutral.

The bike does feel a little taller than earlier. The biggest positive change is the feeling of being more planted on the road now, particularly during high speeds. The eurogrip were good for city use, but useless for high speeds. As people already mentioned it felt like riding a hovercraft, but with the ceat zoom XL, there's more feedback from the road.

Just noticed white smoke coming from bottom part of the engine. Last Sunday I had got my bike serviced from Auto Service, Bangalore. I have been getting a burning smell but ignored it as it always used to happen after service mostly due to wax & used to go off after 3-4 days.
Today morning after returning from class, was at Shell for air & noticed white smoke. Guys any inputs?

Hope your piston and crank shaft are fine. Must be due to bad engine oil or less/no engine oil.

Touch the part below engine oil filter place on engine block .if there is oil deposit on it ,get your o ring of engine oil filter cap changed. 99% its the culprit that svc dumps forgot to change.

A little bit jerking is present .however ,check your chain, sprocket health ,if your bike has done 10k plus ,you're looking at a chain set replacement.

Like I said, I recently got the service done so engine oil is brand new & at perfect level. Also, I am not having any problems w.r.t ride quality. However, there was lot of smudge around that area from where I noticed white smoke. I just cleaned it up. I am guessing it could be because of that, however my knowledge on this topic is very minimal. Hence, want to be sure.

Ring costs 5₹ ,but since now you'll open the oil chamber again, you're likely to loose some oil in process .thereby you'll need some small quantity (say like 10ml-50ml) depending on how minimum you let your oil go waste(on the ground etc etc ) .
