    Guys,
I want to change my engine oil. Today I saw one of the dealer in Navi Mumbai, suggesting me to go for Motul 3000 4T 15w50.
Will that be a good choice? Another choice is castrol activ 20w50. I want reviews and suggestions about both these oils.
Which one shud i go for?
P.S. Do not suggest motul 5100 15w50, cuz my bike has done 4200kms now, and don't have budget to go for 5100.

I am planning to buy a new bike.
for me looks and performance both matter.I have been riding pulsar 180 from a year now.
My query is that I am 5ft 4in nd 64kg in weight and I have done a Td of the ns need to tip toe the bike and not sure if weight will become a problem in traffic as few of them have said the weight of the bike is not manageable in traffic.

Should I go with th ns or look for some other bike.
I am open to both naked and faired bikes.
please put in ur input friends.
      my budget is upto 1.3lakh.

I travel around 40km daily in Bangalore traffic.
      Hi Nikhil,

I would say that you should do a long test drive on the NS in traffic. If you can manage it, you should go for it. The weight of the bike is pretty decent, and if you're like me and like to keep a full tank, then the weight might be an issue.

But after the test drive, I think you should have your answer.

If you do decide to go ahead, then you may look at wearing woodlands, the ones which increase your height by about a couple of inches, you can get a small amount of padding from your seat reduced, and you can look for tyres with a lower profile, something like the FZ tyres. All combined would make a huge difference.

If your budget is 1.3, you can even consider R15v2. And if you can stretch your budget a little, then you can go for Duke, which in my opinion, is much shorter than the NS in terms of ride height.

      Just my two cents.

          Hi,
          thanks for your response bro,
problem is dealer was allowing only for 200meter TD dat too in low traffic+good road so I wasn't able to get a long TD.

One thng I missed out to say was that initially even 180 used to feel high to me so I leaned the bike stand a bit (hope u get it) hence parking makes my bike look slanted and that's the same position I keep the bike when in traffic area I.e. slant and stand on uneven roads.
Hoping some answer if same can be done to ns.

R15 is for my last resort as I Din like the pillion comfort.
and duke is not much of my choice.

Because as per ns demands ,youre short ,you may ride it but when youll need to travel through uneven surface ,you'll surely face a lot of difficulty, even crash is possible.
          Thanks for ur input bro.
Yes somehow need to manage a long Td

            200ns weights 145kg+.
Height is way more than that of 180 .go to showroom and see ns and 180 parked on side stand side by side. Youll get an idea of how high it is on ns

There are a lot of NS owners from Bangalore on xBhp. I think someone can be helpful enough to let you ride their bike so that you know if it's for you or not.

Can't they? I think that can be done.

Thanks for this suggestion, it actually made it shift smoothly, and that sound isn't coming either.

Motul 3000 15w50 is a very good oil,as the engine runs considerably smoother and gear shifts were pretty good as well i have used it personally when my bike was in run in period.
                      drain interval is 2500-3000kms.

Switching to syth and semi syth will further slow down the run in of your bike,
I used mineral oil during oil when my bike was in run-in, switched to semi-syth after that.
And i too did afew "speed bursts" myself, but my bike is running perfectly, no probs what so ever.
Although i do not know if they are going to cause probs in the longer run.

What should be the drain interval of Motul 7100 20w50?

I'm asking people who actually use that oil, and not the ones who have only heard about it.

Brother after i got here many adviced on sticking to mineral oil upto 10k kms and then switch to semi-synth or full..
I switched to full after 1 service..
Since i go on long drives mostly unplanned.. i decided to stick to full ever since because of its slightly long drain period..

No worries mate i had to strected my 'zippy' to 130 while it was 500 kms on ODO and instantly dropped it.. Now it returns upto 45 kmpl when driven sanely and upto 40-41 when ripped hard.. ( note : i am running on slightly rich for more than a couple of months)

Why i said stretching her because..
For example take your own body.. if you be lazy.. you eventually become sluggish and fat .
But on the other hand if exercise and stay healthy.. you remain active and energetic..
Same thing applies to your bike..
But this doesnt mean you rip hard everytime.. excess of anything is harmful..
Keep her in shape by carring out timely maintaince and she'll surely put a grin on face everytime pull the throttle..

I have seen the height bro.I was asking if tilting the stand could help in anyway.
could u tell me what is the Inseam suitable for ns.
