Re: Footrest for Saree guard......
Thanks a lot dude. This post gave me the idea of fixing a footrest for saree guard without any kind of alteration. Though there where no procedures and spare details, I was fortunate enough to find out the spares required and a customer dedicated workshop man to get it done.

@ movies99 Same happens with mine, i guess with others as well. You can use the choke for the first start in the morning or keep the throttle open to simply keep it a around 1500-1700 rpm for a minute or two. When your engine is warmed up after riding for a kilometre or two adjust the idle to 1500 rpm.
PS : Done with the run in of my new Pirellis and the grip is now awesome, the bite from the rear brakes has become noticeably increased, the overall feel of the bike being well planted has increased a lot especially while cornering, will post a few pics soon with the new tyres....

Then download the free pdf from Google.
I am sure you'll be able to learn a lot from that.
It teaches you a lot about accelerating, braking, cornering, throttle control and many other important things.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Use the oil till you feel that the engine is getting gruff, gear shifts harder, gear slips, etc. Oil drain period cannot be easily defined since it depend on the nature of application. City driving is considered normal and for this, fs lasts for about 8k kms depending on driving style. Highway rides shorten oil life.Originally posted by MarkNS View PostCan someone please respond on the drain interval query for Motul 7100 20w50?

That's the way that video works. Even in the movie, you'll see them passing on the info to the new riders to learn. I got the link right here on this thread.Originally posted by Gowty View PostMarkNS Thank you buddy
I don't remember who shared it, but I'm thankful as hell to whoever it was.

You see things vacationing on a motorcycle in a way that is completely different from any other. In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame. ~Robert Pirsig

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi everyone, Im from the Philippines and I have just recently joined xbhp community with the intention of
learning more about my 3week old PULSAR 200NS...or Here in the Philippines it is called ROUSER 200NS...
I do have high expectations that this community would be the best source of knowledge for the PULSAR 200NS
as this bike originated from India by Bajaj, and this Pulsar 200NS was first experienced by the people in this
community before it arrived in Philippine shores last October 2014...I got my unit last November 29 to be exact.
I have high praises for this bike... and this is indeed "Bang for the buck"... I currently have no issues with the
bike as Im still gaining knowledge about it by reading in philippine, indonesian forums. Im currently looking stories
on its strengths... but im particularly interested in its weaknesses...
Recently, here in the philippines... a lot of discussion has been thrown on the issue of "COOLANT MIXING WITH ENGINE OIL"
there were a lot of discussion in our local forums in the Philippines as there have been 3 cases already on this issue...
3 New Owners of this bike have encountered such issue...mind you that these bikes have not even touched the 100km mileage.
I personally have not encountered this with my Bike, nevertheless I would still like to know and I'm very interested to learn
from your experiences... on how such issue could have happened, how to solve this problem and avoid this in the future...
There are those who participated in our local forums that judged the bike to be low quality... this I strongly disagree as those
that said so have not really looked at the big picture wherein such things have already happened with the other reputed names
in the business... I'd be looking at this community more often to learn from your discussions and participate whenever possible..
May I seek the help of the community more specially those that experienced this "COOLANT MIXING WITH ENGINE OIL ISSUE"
to shed some light on the following questions we have so that of us who have just purchased our 200NS could better understand
our bike's difficulties and resolve the issues and prevent in the future. So may I ask those who have experienced this issue to
share their stories and reply to the questions i have prepared below:
A. What was your approximate Odometer reading when it happened, 100km?200km?
B. How did you discover that the coolant was already mixing with the Engine Oil? was it while running or when it was already parked and by chance you have checked your oil sight glass you found out about the strange color of the engine oil?...
C. What parts were damaged and replaced?
D. What parts were added to improve and avoid the issue from repeating?
E. What did Bajaj mechanics have to say as to the cause of this issue on "Coolant mixing with Engine Oil"? such as QC negligence at Bajaj? Wrong Break-in method? Wrong Coolant? Cooling system not functioning?..etc.
F. Has the issue been solved and has not recurred since the time you picked
up the unit after the repair and replacement of needed parts was done?
I'd appreciate if you could lend some time to help me with my questions above and hear from you your stories
on this issue... Thank you in advance to the xbhp community...
By the way here's my Pulsar 200NS or ROUSER 200NS (Philippines)

Welcome to the xBhp family. Congratulations on your new ride.
Coming to your query, I have never heard of coolant mixing with the engine oil. I've owned an NS for 14000km now and I've had no such issue, neither have I seen anyone talk about it on this thread for as long as I've been here. Yes, a related issue which I have heard of is the coolant leaking. But nothing of the sort you've mentioned.
Since it is Kawasaki Bajaj Rouser, they may have made a few changes. One of which I can see is the colour scheme. Maybe there was some fault in the assembly. Or a defective part with those 3 bikes.
I would only suggest you to do the break in properly. I don't think you'll have any issues like that.
