  • [QUOTE=nilesh14587;936727]Rajiv Bajaj himself said in an interview that Bajaj is bringing a smaller (<200cc) and a bigger (the 375cc) pulsars. Now when Discover has got 4-valve engine, it makes perfect sense that this new smaller pulsar would be 4-valve engine and in all probability be called an NS. I would bet on 150cc. As its the most competitive segment right now in India. They would replace all engines sooner or later to 4-valve thats for sure though. May not happen in 2013 but soon.

Well, I dunno what you made outta that post of mine, but I was kinda saying the same thing, in reference to a post saying launch of 135ns, 150ns, 180ns, etc..
When the P135LS was launched, it was pretty clear that they have launched it as a test bike to understand & analyze the customer's reaction & adaptation to that, also on it's performance with a 4-valve engine. Not sure if they'll name the under 200 one 'NS' too, mite give it a different designation, which would be more profound & sensible, but it can be of any displacement segment, 150 may have greater possibility. 4-vavle, triple spark are the new tech that bajaj will try to implement on almost every next bike till they come up with a new tech I believe.

They couldn't give front number plate till now (about 3 months & 4500 KMs)

      • Got my oil changed to Motul 3000 today. But did a silly mistake. Just got the bike to a mechanic ( riding ) and DIDN'T wait for the oil to settle down, say for like 20 mins or so. drained the old oil and filled 1.2 ltrs of new.

Now there is excess of oil in the bike. The oil exceeds the oil level indicator ( below right ). Can excess oil damage the engine in some way. I am thinking to drain just about 40 - 60 ml of oil, just to get the right oil level.

        Any suggestion guys ????

No harm done. The oil chamber can take in 1.5L of engine oil so it wont matter if a little bit extra is there over and above 1.2L.

Definitely a great deal!! But plz enquire the reason bcz it has done only 800km and he wants to sell at such a low price. Also do you know his driving stlye or habit?? 200Ns needs proper run-in for trouble free experience,so btr ask him whether he followed it. If all the above are gud then its a great steal

                  Cheers

Go for it. Just make sure the bike is still under warranty. Would be advisable to check whether there is any third party modification done to the bike which can void the warranty

Do keep in mind warranty not applicable if the person owning the bike is not the first owner of the bike....otherwise definitely a good deal

Sounds like a decent deal, U'd know better, as it's coming on from ur close friend, about it's maintenance, condition, warranty, etc.. I do recall a point that the ownership can be transferred. U can inquire about it in RTO for the accurate info.

75k is a good deal. But no matter what it's always a good practice to inspect the bike before purchase.

                            All the best.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                              • well the guy is selling it because his family isnt comfortable with the pillion seat .. his sister just fell down while getting on to it .. so he is going for a karizma ... regarding bike maintenance it is in pristine condition without any scratches but lots of dust .. bike's run in was done well as i myself clocked 300 kms out of the 800kms driven xD

ps : already paid him 30k yesterday night and remaining money to be paid in the next month ... bargained for 70k xD ..we both went and enquired outside and local bike vendors and they were ready to pay around 82k for him .. he gave it to me at 70k as a token of frndship
