    Hi guys,
    1) completed 5k in 4 months and 2nd servicing. Asked svc guys for motul 20w50 they gave me 15w50 and said everyone was using the same. So bought it. Is it OK?
    2) I went on off road drive for about 30 km to a waterfall, engine got very hot and started to make weird noise, is it due to the fan?
    3) chain got very dusty and started to make a lot of noise. Svc guys cleaned and lubed it, after that lube more and more dust is accumulating on the chain.
    4) can't find any place to buy motul chain cleaner and lube, can anyone suggest a place in vizag?

So, which one is the best for the ns?

        1. I have been using 15w50 since the first service and hadn't faced any issues since. However i was looking for a fully synthetic oil. Need to get reviews on that though.
        2. Are you sure the weired noise you heard is int associated with the fan that was operating?
        3. Nothing can be done on the lube unless you have a concealed chain.

Brake pedals will definitely have scratches because not all the showrooms directly gets their bikes from the load truck. They will have to drive from some godown or main dealer.

and finished bike itself will go for test drive by bajaj itself before they "ok" the bike. so it may not be a deciding factor for the bike.

2 Check the tyre thread patterns, and look for the thin green line on the centre of the tyre to ensure that the bike has not been used as test bikes.

same point applies for green line in center of tyre.

Thats very true. It was the case in mine as well. If you really want to make sure that you are buying a new one, you can ask for the piece which is not in stock. For example, I asked for red-black combo with MRF only model. They had all other colors except red-black. So they said I'd have to wait for 3-5 days till stock could arrive. On the arrival of the stocks, they called me. I promptly made my presence thereby preventing it being used for TD (where I could see some guys waiting for TD in showroom). Otherwise, chances are pretty less to rule out. Key hole\tyre pattern are not that precise, as all bikes parked inside showroom will not be locked and key removed ever imho (2 TDs I have seen, 3 times on visit to showroom before buying). It is good to prefer to get it in main showrrom

                Hey friends,

                1. Can any one tell how to lower the brake pedal,
I visited svc but all of them said it can't be adjusted in pulsar 200ns.

                2. I have noticed my bike fish tailed about 2 to 3 times till now under hard braking condition. No disc lock or fall though, am I doing something wrong. How could I avoid the fish tailing in high speed and brake effectively .happened on dry roads and I am on stock mrf tyres.

                3. I got the engine re-tuned earlier.
I see engine doesn't stall or anythng runs perfect but I get only 30kmpl mileage currently.

Visit any local 4 wheeler work shop and consult with tinker(patch worker).
He could lower your pedal by heating.

Please don't use back brakes as main to stall the vehicle.
Use 75% or more pressure on front while breaking

Your fishy tail style reactions shud be due to rear braking when doing zig\zag rides

                        1. As said, use 75%+25% braking ratio for a normal asphalt roads; learn and get used to it. (Front/Rear).
                        2. That being said, never apply too much front brake in gravel coz, it will lock easily (though rear locks as well, but front wont be helpful in stopping as much it does on the other case) and you wont stop, use rear instead a bit more here.
                        3. On wet, things change a bit. Try 50%+50% braking ratio.
                        4. On corners, use less front braking. Also on wet roads\gravel, avoid much of cornering.

Also, if you feel your rear wheel locks so quickly, ask your svc guy to adjust it. I had that prob when I took delivery.

Reg mileage, I got very less.
                        My mileage history is

                        28kmpl ~ @ 100kms
                        32kmpl ~ @ 300kms
                        34kmpl ~ @ 550kms
                        43kmpl ~ @ 750kms (After 1st service)
                        44kmpl ~ @ 900kms
                        46kmpl ~ @ 1250kms
                        and so on...

After that on, I've been getting a constant 43~44kmpl with sane driving speeds ~45kmh to 70kmph (mixed ride)

                        The Bottom line is,
If you want better mileage, Drive like discover 100cc

                          Hi,

Fish tail during panic braking is my issue.
I am not having the issue other times.

                          I. Will try all the above given methods.
I was getting 30kmpl or below from 0km till date 2200.
I am riding it sanely in every possible way.
And my friend rides at 70 and gets 44.
I ride at around 50kmph still 28 to 30 nly.

Got it tuned multiple times and even checked from khivraj motors Bangalore.
They couldn't find the cause and said 25kmpl is the idle for 200 ns and I was getting way more.
