    Hi shreezan,

Is there any other difference between the old and new versions other than rpm light. I'm thinking about buying the bike. Please let me know.

      1) newer versions have mentioned that it is the high rpm in the light itself but not reserve/low fuel
      2) it didnt glow for my friend as well when all of the fuel level in the indicator vanished (his was newer version as well)

But i might be wrong [emoji14]
Yes... newer versions. Its only RPM light. Older ones, its both.

Yep! Riding my friends' new ns i immediately got the feeling of smoother engine. But the way my bike (dual tone 2013 version with old console) pulled, the new bike was not comparable. This fact might be because it was running lean. But it had no resistance type of feeling (almost comparable to honda 150cc bikes) . My bike gives merely 36kmpl under sedate riding while his gave 43 kmpl in run in phase. Overall i was intrigued by the smoothness and would be happy to compromise power with smoothness.
If you are going for the new ns then make sure to seek for new tyres (mrf ones not the euro grips)
And new ones have rpm redline at 9500rpm which is quite surprising [emoji19] .

The shape of coolant indicator box has changed . and the fuel knob design has changed as well. Which is really confusing. As to why were these small insignificant changes were made by bajaj ..

That was really awesome. So they bettered everything but compromising some power. That's OK for me too.

Looking forward to getting the naked wolf... Hoping to get the mrf's. Do you have any idea how we can negotiate those with the dealers.

Also could you put photos notifying the difference so that I can identify those different versions in the dealer's place

If the dealership has ns with mrf tyres then you will be able to get those if not you will have to switch dealers.. mrf ns started to show up from september, so its likely that your dealer will have the same ..
Here are the pictures that i made showing difference by comparing mine with my friend's ns .. there might be others but so far these are the small dissimalirities that i have found.

Even in my new NS the RPM Light Doesn't glow when in Reserve mode.

And there are many other differences in old and new NS. Like the Rear Hugger is bigger in newer models and more practical (Tested). And the color of engine, number plate assembly etc are different.

                And i have one query.
Does anyone's NS goes left when you take both your hands off the handle bar? I have asked the SVC they refit the whole front assembly but still problem resists. Also tried different SVC they said 'We are not supposed take of our hands from handle bars of NS . It is a heavy bike and it will go left.' This is the only problem i'm facing in my NS, So please throw in some more info regarding it.

Thanks buddy. Will negotiate with the dealer today. And the pics are clear and awesome. Appreciate it.

Addition to above, If i sit an inch towards right the bike goes straight. Weird though :P

What a crappy reply from the SVC!
Please get you handlebar cone set and front forks checked. Before that, ensure your tire pressures are normal.

                        Hi Divya Sharan,

I replaced the tire air to nitrogen ones and filled with 25PSI on front and 32PSI on rear (I'm having MRF zapper as stock tyres so is the pressure same as mentioned in the Manual?).

I got handlebar cone set and front forks checked at first service but still the problem persists.

Wasn't the issue of the bike going left when the handle bar is free, there in the almost all the ns which came from the first batch. The initial paged of this thread is filled with people asking about it why haven't they thought of sorting it out in the new batches?

Or is it a normal thing for the bikes to go to one side.

In my previous bike i.e. Pulsar 135LS it used to go straight if i take my hands off. I think any bike should go straight after you cross certain minimum speed (Ex.: 35Kmph).

If you are not stunting, is there any need to take your hands off the bar!! Just kidding.

Well, but I have another question for Noida/Ghaziabad Pulsar guys who come to service their bikes at Shree Automobiles in Noida Sector 63:
Well they put the engine oil using a mug from a steel drum. Feels like the way kerosene was given in early days from Ration shops.... lol & just to clear its a Authorised Bajaj Service center.
Now, how do you know that the engine oil is the recommended Pulsar 10000 dtsi engine oil?

                                Yes !
But I was pointing differences between the dual tone (older 2013 lots) and dual tone (newer 2014 lots)
Mine is dual tone too but of old lot
Between single and dual colors differences include
Different engine color (as you've said)
                                Longer practical hugger
                                Matte handlebar
                                Anti scratch Tank pad etc
And further between old lot and new lot dual tones differences include
                                New instrument cluster
                                Different fuel knob
                                Different shape of coolant indicator
Low redline indicator at 9.5 k
But i am not sure how is the number plate assembly different ? Do you have any idea ?
