Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
the owner manual says the little little yellow light above the speedometer (RPM Limit indicator) should turn on when the fuel hits reserve level in the tank. However, its not happening. The light is not coming on when hitting the reserve.
Anyone else faced the similar issue?

It works fine in my bike...infact it starts to glow much earlier than it actually goes into reserve mechanically.
Is your bike showing correct fuel level in fuel gauge.
Maybe the tank was removed during servicing and mechanic forgot to reconnect the sensor wire connector/coupler.

Sir the light comes up when the fuel gauge shows less than 3 bars of fuel..Originally posted by sunilg View Postthe owner manual says the little little yellow light above the speedometer (RPM Limit indicator) should turn on when the fuel hits reserve level in the tank. Alternatively you can test for the working of light by tilting the bike on left ..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Since yours bike features the new instrument cluster it might just be the high rpm indicator and not the reserve light .. but in older instrument cluster it serves the purpose of both the high rpm (it will blink) and low fuel (it will glow) .. the info in the owner's manual may be incorrect.. i am saying this because of two reasons.Originally posted by sunilg View Postthe owner manual says the little little yellow light above the speedometer (RPM Limit indicator) should turn on when the fuel hits reserve level in the tank. 1) newer versions have mentioned that it is the high rpm in the light itself but not reserve/low fuel
2) it didnt glow for my friend as well when all of the fuel level in the indicator vanished (his was newer version as well)
But i might be wrong [emoji14]Last edited by shreezan; 12-09-2014, 09:23 PM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Again, I was doing a comparison of two cylinders from two separate bikes and I was not talking about modifying either cylinders.Originally posted by denverrodricks View Postwhen you talk about a bore it means the diameter
when you talk about a stroke it means length
having a longer liner wont make any difference, it might touch the crank or if you make the block longer upward, you will reduce your compression ratio.

Nobody is trying to bore out or increase stroke length of ANYTHING. So lets just leave it at that.
Also I think you mean you rebored the bike with a sleeve. Which is not advisable for LC bikes at all. And 200NS bore is non reborable. It just can't be done.Last edited by Balgi; 12-09-2014, 10:29 PM.

I also have the dual tone NS and once I rode many kilometers even after hitting reserve (couldn't find any petrol bunk), but then also, this light didn't glow.Originally posted by sunilg View Post

Kidding.. constantly redlining bike will seriously hamper your engines life..
By this i mean if you hit redline once in a while is ok.. but just dont rev it and keep it there..
