Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
yep. looks like the drained battery. Do you have any aftermarket accessory like extra horn/light fitted on your bike? Things like these can drain the battery pretty quickly.Originally posted by Giftonsamuel View PostMight be a battery issue. how old is your battery ?(Been There Done That) x 3.25

Re: Newbie Bike Owner: Questions around biking
I suppose you can use the arm band for mobile which they use for workouts and use the headset as well. In that case u can hear the navigation and the screen will not be off as well. Additionally if u wanna see the route, u can stop the bike and check the mobile just like seeing ur watch for time.
I haven't personally tried it, but even I had the same requirement as yours and was thinking of the same to try out sometime soon. May be you can update if yo find this useful.

While biking, it is impossible to hold your phone, look at it and drive. I even tried voice navigation my plugging my headphones and keeping the phone in my pocket. Well it works for the first few minutes, but then either the screen turns off due to pressure on the power button while in pocket and all.*
So, whats the best way to use GPS while biking?
I have heard of Mobile Holders mounted on bike handle but that seems unsafe because no holder could hold my phone in position when I am in a jerky Ghaziabad Road. I some type of Mobile holder strap available for holding my phone with the Petrol Tank? If not, what according to you is the best way to use GPS while biking?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My NS is four months old and no third party accessory is fitted on the bike, thats why i am more suprised on the quality of Bajaj. My Honda Unicorn never experienced any single failure in 10 yrs. Anyways, its a mechanical thing after all.Originally posted by sunilg View Postyep. looks like the drained battery. Do you have any aftermarket accessory like extra horn/light fitted on your bike? Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
It must be the relay. It will be inside the left side cover under the seat (not quite sure what that cover is called
)
I faced the same issue when I took my bike for a wash. Water got inside it. And please don't take that tic tic sound lightly. I saw that it was actually sparking.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
i am new here,by mistake posted that in the wrong thread.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostI wonder why people are so dumb ,is this a sales thread ..?
Are we looking to buy some old 180 when we all have 200ns. . When you cannot decide from where to buy a bike ,I wonder How you'd made life decisions till now and in forthcoming future .
Too much ot nowadays ..
and dude need not make such childish comment on me,learn to respect people and their doubts.
the doubt about where to buy the bike came because of warranty issue that may arise in future and the free services that are supposed to be given.
It would be better if understand that and then only reply.

Thanks for the quick reply,Originally posted by Gnayak View PostHey nikzcool,
If you buying any bike buy it from Authorized Dealer itself.
I bought Pulsar 200NS 10 days ago from Supreme Bajaj, Mangalore. And it costed me around Rs.104,388 including registration etc.
Secondly, why do you want to change the tyres? We are getting MRF Zappers as stock now and the grip they provide is awesome.
Completed my 1st free service 2 days ago. And the feel/smoothness the engine giving is awesome.
~Ganna
now i understand why the hike in price by 2500Rs or so in the last one week .
the authorized dealer had not updated me on that they are offering MRF too.
i called up the service center and was notified that Bajaj is offering both Euroslips and MRF for the same rate.
Just need to tell them what i want at the time of booking.
BTW they even said that if i change the tyre from the stock one i will lose warranty...confused with this.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Loose warranty for changing the Tyre in the sense? If get mrf as stock then there won't be any issues with warranty. Even if you change to some other brands then also it won't void warranty as tyres comes under wear and tear category so warranty is not there for tyres.

the svc told me that what comes as stock cannot be changed else i will loose warranty.
and if i change the horn as well will i loose warranty or no.
which horn should i install as the stock one is too weak.
guess the svc people here are just not well informed

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Something happened with me after 2 Months of purchase
The mechanic check the battery connection, spark plugs and other things
There is loose connection with self motor which is on the right hand side of the bike near the ideal rpm screw
The wire connection is covered with the rubber

What could be wrong any idea? Need to call mechanic inside the premises now.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
The manual says if u change horn or any other electrical accessories it will harm the battery. If you are ok with that you can go ahead and change the horns. But make sure you don't cut the wires etc. , Coz that will definitely void the warranty. Try to fix secondary horn in simple way so that you can remove it whenever you goto svc/claiming warranty.

Reliability of Pulsar 200 NS
Hi everyone,
This is my first post here on xBhp. It feels great to be a part of this community!
I'm considering buying a new bike and the Pulsar 200NS is at the top of my list-it fits my budget and is also good looking and fast. I just want experienced opinions on its reliability and build quality-areas which have not traditionally been Bajaj strengths. Any advice or alternate suggestions?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Guys.. I have a concern, the coolant in my bike shows two colours, dark green(which I guess is the original colour) on the bottom and pale green on top. Is this normal? Is there a chance of water seeping in and diluting the coolant? I drove along in heavy rains recently and hence the doubt.
