Get the clutch adjustment checked. Since it is new, suggest you go to ur showroom to get it tightened (or somewhere close by if the dealership is far away)

Congratulations on your new ride!! your ride through the reserve sounds like fun!

      Welcome to xBHP

      ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Just back from an Epic ride!! The best bike ride of my life... 5 friends and I rode from Malad, Mumbai to Tarkarli, Malvan along the coastal
route. We had to change 3 ferries, navigate through some really bad roads and cover a distance of approx 680 kms one way to some of the most beautiful coasts and beaches I've seen!! The place was so beautiful that we decided to stay back for a couple of days and travel back via Volva and ferry our bikes in the bus.

Back home after a 6 day trip and am more in love with the NS than ever! Not a pain in my body after all those kms on the road...Guess the Fazer fairing I fixed before we left for the trip really helped as we covered approx 200 kms on the 1st 3 days of our ride. we had some crazy bad stretches on on ghat sections as well as some of the most beautiful stretches along the coastline that we road on. All of us going scuba diving was the icing on the cake! Will post a travel blog soon!!

Our rides: Bullet Classic 350, Pulsar 200 NS (Mine) and Pulsar 150

Guys I was worried about My New NS that sometimes the Gear doesn't get engages until I release the clutch to some extent..
As one of our fellow BHPian said I took My bike to the SVC. The Guy at SVC took a ride and said that "There's no problem in the bike. Since it's a 4-stroke engine can't shift all the gears up or down while in standstill. WHile upshifting you can shift only upto 5th, then have to release the clutch a bit and then have to shift it again. In case of downshifiting the same thing has to be done when shifting from 2 to 1. "

He said like this. Is that true...?? Am not convinced with his words though.

As far as i know bikes gears should be engaged while moving..
Will moving gears will smoothly upshift and downshift..

re-bore ...?? ns has bigger bore than p220..

It doesn't have a bigger bore than 220, it just has a wider bore. The 200NS is an over square design i.e it is a shorter bore in height but the hole is bigger/wider. Length wise the p220 bore is longer but width wise its narrower. But 200NS is still a 199cc bore and p220 is a 218cc bore.
Also 200NS bore is a lc bore which comes already bored to the cylinder's max metallurgical capacity. If one attempts to bore any further they risk cracking the bore up causing it to become useless. And trust me 200NS bores don't come cheap.

Guys, has anyone tried the Duke front tyre on their NS?

If so, how's the performance? It's 110/70-17, and I haven't heard any complaints from duke owners regarding the grip.

I saw it fitted on an NS a few days ago in a parking lot, the owner was not there so couldn't ask for feedback.

I am saying how he can bore small size 67 in 72mm [emoji23]
What you means by Length wise..?? It means stroke. He meant to say putting oversize piston in Ns to increase performance not to change stroke length.

Yes by length I meant stroke and I didn't say anything about increasing stroke length. I was just comparing bore types and telling you how they are different from each other.
Also I have it on good faith that neither the d200 nor d390 can be rebored to run an oversize piston. Firstly because of the diasil coating on the cylinder inner surface. And secondly as I said before, these bikes are pretty much running on last oversize piston as stock. They are fully bored out and hence cannot be bored any further. Of course the p200NS doesn't have a diasil coated cylinder but it is still fully bored out like the dukes.

It engages.. But not everytime.. 9/10 it engages buddy...

And I feel it's a bit harsh upshifting (ODO 230Kms.. Still not done first service). Downshifing is kind of smooth that sometimes I get confused whether the gear is shifted or Not..

                          No worries mate..
Bike is relatively new and along with engine gearbox does also need time to set in..
After 1-2 servicing gearbox will be smooth
My 50 cents.. use a good quality mineral oil uptil 10k. Then switch to semi synth or full synth oil..

how can you re bore it without boreing it?
what do u mean by longer bore
you're talking about stroking it but also do not want to stroke it at the same time.
                            I didnot understand
and boring is better than stroking and easier too because stroking reguired modification to the crank.
you can change the liner in your block to a bigger/wider diameter one by boring the block itself.

You seem to have misunderstood my entire post which is surprising. But let me try to explain.
I didn't say you can bore anything. I was talking about a bike's cylinder kit which is referred to as a bore and piston. I was trying to tell the person I quoted that reboring cannot be performed on said cylinder as there is risk to the structural integrity of the cylinder if that is done.
By length I meant "Stroke" And I was definitely not talking about stroking anything (pun intended).
I think you may have mistaken my post for a statement about modification processes. It was simply an explanation of why mod cannot be done on p200NS cylinder. And FYI stroke measurment can never and should never be modified for any reason (not a question of easy or not) as the crank case is designed for a specific stroke length and set rotation only.
