Are you asking decreasing coolant level at a slow rate is really bad? Or do you really want it to get decreasedOriginally posted by vaibhav93 View Postdid anyone change coolant,?
Am 4k on ODO it decreasing very slow ..? Is it problem ?

Coolant like any other liquids do get used up over time, depending on a lot of factors. As Mayank rightly stated, always check fluid levels after two to four hours to on a plane surface for correct readability. If your coolant levels are low, top it up, topping up in and of itself isn't an issue.
What you must consider is if you need frequent top ups or reducing levels frequently, then you may need to dig in a little deeper.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Leaked coolant is green only. Its the corrosion/rust it causes on the metal parts which leave brownish marks.Originally posted by faffy View PostWhats the color of the coolant residue when leaked?
Today while riding to the office, somebody on the way pointed out that something is leaking. When i checked (still riding) , the coolant was like boiling and leaking . By the time i could get out of the traffic and inspect, it had stopped, and there was some sort off brownish residue left on the pipes and all. This is the first time i have seen coolant leakage in 8.5k kms ownership exp , though the coolant level has always been just half-an inch below the max level all this while. Neither did I do any hard ripping today. Wondering as to why this happened today.
I faced same issue. Get your bike checked ASAP. Either the coolant is leaking in the engine oil and/or the o-ring on the coolant header pipe is gone so the leakage. The mechanic will figure out this one. Also ask the mechanic to check coolant level inside the radiator jacket. They just check the reservoir level. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

One generic question this one is for the moderator and all the folks.
Please dont be biased,
Is 200ns only a winner in making Online forums to talk about it or did it really convert into sales????
Unlike the previous gen pulsars I rarely see 200ns on the road at least in Hyderabad.
FYI: I own a Bumble Bee

Weren't you using Motul 7100 before, now why did you switch to Castrol power 1 racing?
Also did you change your spark plugs, if So to which one?

Yes. Sales seems low in number. Don't quite know the reason. Maybe wil take some time. The product does need to get familiarised with the public. Then again it's not sold with the concept of daily commute in mind.Originally posted by suhas chowdhary View PostOne generic question this one is for the moderator and all the folks.

Well how much of the 220 did you find on the road in its initial years, not much right. Even now in places it's so less in number.
Cheers

Maybe less in number around HYD, but NS sold in hordes in BLR. I see at least 50 NSs parked in my office. Red seems to be people's favorite here followed by yellow.Originally posted by suhas chowdhary View PostOne generic question this one is for the moderator and all the folks.

Ok,folks. I seem to have a recurring problem with the throttle response of my bike. Some times, (emphasizing strongly on "SOME"),the throttle roll on/roll off is absolutely smooth and the response is spot on. However at all other times, when I upshift and gradually roll on the throttle, there is an appreciable delay in the power delivery and a jerky burst of speed ,say, after 1.5 seconds. Same thing with the rev-downshift routine. Engine braking seems to have increased in each gear as well. Even more than on my old P200 DTSi. 900 odd kms on the odo in a month or so.
I suspect the problem could be with the CDI,but I don't have the time right now to spend a whole day at the svc to check that fact. Any other possible factors which could lead to this?

Red is my personal favorite as well. Suits the NS best. Maybe it's just psychological, coz we all have, some time in 2011-2012, drooled over press-photos of the cherry-red P200NS. Black is the color I'd least prefer on a NS. Even though I rode a black one extensively, it was not much of a headturner, as say, a bumblebee or a red one.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostMaybe less in number around HYD, but NS sold in hordes in BLR. Wow, just love that fleet!Originally posted by surojit View PostLong time since I posted any pics here...Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Got my PUC today.
The kid (surely below 14) was amazed to see the bike. Searched for silencer and eventually asked "silencer nahi hai ?".
I guess not many PUC walas have seen this bike.. The father son duo got very excited and started checking out the bike. Asked me details like average, cost etc..
6 months after ownership and the bike hasn't lost its charm !!!

I guess there wasn't any need to get the PUC done..... for new vehicles, till one year you are not required to get it done ( Please correct me if am wrong)....Originally posted by tejas1509 View PostGot my PUC today.
