I wish the 200NS to be manufactured with a ABS version in brakes. I would definitely buy that version. this thought came to me today when i narrowly escaped a high speed skid due to a crazy dog which came out suddenly to chase me in front of my bike. i don't know what was it thinking. .

Excuse me? My vehicle still needs to run on a semi synth oil, which implies my engine still has some settling in to go through. And that was the reason I was looking for the semi synth blend 5100 in the first place. It's not my fault if I could find only one one bottle of 5100 in the entire city. So I had to use 200ml of 300v (note: money wasn't important, an immediate oil change was) keeping in mind I'll use the rest of it after about 2.5k kms. SS oil is aleardy a mix of FS and mineral oil as far as I've heard, read and known. And I didn't ruin my 300v. 800ml of pure 300v is still left. I know what I've done is out of the normal, but not stupid.

hmm.. even I tuned my bike's AFR for awhile today. to Anti-Clockwise ? So I guess I was making it richer ? Still learning about this stuff btw. So today's tuning seems to have improved acceleration & low end pull even further. RPM needle seems stable now. I don't wanna screw up the FE lol. However today for the very first time there were vibrations on footpegs. :s

I can understand the need for ABS. May be NS is also getting ABS soon as Duke200's ABS version comes this year i think. expect price to go up for that one.

About crazy dogs who chase bikers... here is what you need to do. Never brake, Never swerve & Never even look at the dogs who start chasing you under hard acceleration. Why ? because believe me the dog isn't trying to bite you or achieve anything but display a "dominant behavior"... like who is the boss on this street. Dogs have superior reflexes so don't worry about them next time & just pass through with speed maintained. Because your bike isn't gonna hit the dog's head no matter how close he gets to you (even if you attempted to intentionally hit the chasing dog with your bike, you'll fail & crash your bike instead lol).. even if he's barking near your foot & keeping up with the speed of your bike, He is not bite your foot.
It's very common cause when dominant dogs hear loud exhaust the feel the urge to chase it. & I say this as I have great knowledge of Dogs. I get my street Dogs to chase every day & I see them chasing others as well. Not crazy, but normal dogs lol.

Thanx a ton bro.. However i have heard that jus 3 or 4 centers in blore has trained mechanics for 200 NS , Just wanted to confirm if Auto service in banshankari service pulsar 200 NS Btw the Auto Service in Banashankari is actually close to my place.
Ques 2 : There are a few parts of my bike (like the small plate which holds the front break cable) are rusted and want to get that replaced under warranty hence is it possible to claim it in auto service banashankari??

Ans 1: If Banashankari mechanics arent trained to work on our vehicle then I can bet no one in Bangalore is .
Ans 2: If it's replaceable under warranty then I don't see why Auto Service will not replace. No service centre allows you to use 3rd party engine oil other than Auto Service . Just rlax n go there

hehehe...they also chase you if you slide your shoes on the ground while the bike is still running...
but what I've found useful is that when a dog starts chasing you...the best way to deal with this is to brake & slow down the bike totally...doing so , the dog will lose its interest in you...

@nishant thanks man btw u were the one right to paint tyre sidewalls with white acrylic paint? i did it and now the paint has become yellow and dirty.did u face the same thing?i got camlin and not fevicryl at d shop. any solution??

Mine has also got a tad dirty but its still clearly visible & distinct...
But the inscriptions on the left side of the rear tyre are gone due to chain lubrication by svc...so I'm thinking about doing those again but would add some finely crushed glass ( i.e glass dust ) or colourless sparkle (not sure if something like this is even available in the market) in it to give it a reflective property...I'll try to do it tomorrow if possible...

exactly same with me..clearly visible but dirty and no amount of water or car shampoo can make it bring white...glass dust...hmm where do u get that?how will that help? sparkles will make it look bad...its not a girls bike re...ganda lagega..i guess i wil keep painting to keep the inscriptions white

yea even FZ has that....racing stripes..i liked it and many have done it on xbhp too...not my effort...just my pocket money...effort is that sticker wala guys :P

u cannot simply do it urself..u need heat gun to properly stick it...

Hi mates,
Was long gone because of an issue happened at our place and it hurt me as well as my 200NS.
What happened was there was some accident at our plant and as it is a production plant the Labors/workers union got angry because the accident was fatal. It took 2 people's lives due to gas leak.
The public got angry and the mob came in our executive engineer's colony and they threw stones on our hostel, club, restaurant, mess and everywhere they saw glass to break. Meanwhile some of them came to our hostel parking area and broke the glasses of cars with sticks, bats and stones and dropped the bikes parked there. My NS was also one of them. It fell on the right side as a boy pushed it (I witnessed it from our hostel roof top and there was nothing I could do that time). Slightly scratched body, leg guard bent and right side handle bar scratched.
Thank god nothing more happened than that.
