Please post here or PM me the gear ratios of 200NS. It may be on the specifications page of the user’s manual.

      • Question to everyone who has done more than 4000 km in ns...Does us ns still heat and radiator fan starts??

In my case after 10 mins of idling it doesn't start, but i start to get tappet noise!!

Go to SVC Asap...There might be a loose connection. It should run after 10 min of idling ( I mean if the engine is hot enough after 10 mins)

Also has anyone come across the workshop manual for the NS ?
How much have you ridden the bike ? I didn't like it either in the beginning but you get used to it by time.

I haven't done 4k km.. but 2k km.. between this period I have only spotted my Radiator fan working once ! that was like 1st or 2nd day of purchase I believe. I don't idle more than a couple of minutes (It shouldn't be done as per manual) .. 10 mins of idling seems alot .. but I also get tappet noise sometimes I think, I'll recheck this next time.

+1 broken87, I hated the indicators at the start, but am totally comfortable with them now. In fact i prefer them while touring with heavy leather gloves.

Yeah the bike heats up a fair bit in bumper to bumper traffic but even I've never heard the radiator run. Only, I've never seen the engine temperature indicator turn on either so I know somehow it's working. Regarding the tappet noise, if it's really mild, it's alright. Else if it's irritating, better get it checked, though the svc's usually put it off as normal, even if it's pretty loud.

Yes surely will have to change both ends.

I have ridden my bike for 3k km now. I have got used to it. but my fingers are small hence i sometimes dont find it comfortable when ever i want to indicate to turn left as i have to take my thumb all the way. Also the indicator cancelling button is not so good. I sometimes think why the hell these people change the indicator switch design

                        • Hi All,

I've done 4600 KM mileage and due for 2nd service.
I was facing heavy vibes issue post 5.5K rpm in 4th, 5 th and 6th gears for past 300 KM. Chain lubing solved this issue.
Tool kit holders (rubber bands) have been giving up. I am replacing them with ones from stationery shop but they are also of no use. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions on hand grips? Better off without them??

                          Rgds

U want shiny? Yellow is the one. Just go to a showroom and check-out personally to get the clear picture and decide.

You are correct in the sense if you use it without wearing any gloves. But if u have started wearing full gauntlet gloves it serves the purpose when you are in the highway. While replacing go for the traditional one's
