The chain of my bike is creating a clattering noise, like a worn out ball-bearing.I am sure it is coming from the front sprocket, its more evident at low speeds.I had got it checked in the SVC but they say its normal for all open chain bikes and just lubed it with oil but I doubt. My gear too makes a clattering sound and does not feel smooth and the bike does not tend to change direction easily. My friend's Ignitor feels a lot better in almost all aspect.I am now totally fed up with my bike and feel that I should have opted for some other bike instead of this. Please help and thanks in advance....

Are you seriously comparing Ignitor-Zeet ki Chingari (No offence to anyoneOriginally posted by avi_nash94 View PostThe chain of my bike is creating a clattering noise, like a worn out ball-bearing.I am sure it is coming from the front sprocket, its more evident at low speeds.I had got it checked in the SVC but they say its normal for all open chain bikes and just lubed it with oil but I doubt. I am not comparing NS with Ignitor but the problem is my bike giving a lot of problems and to add to that insult the SVC is not able to identify my problems. Btw I have clocked around 2500 kms and currently using Castrol Activ Extra 20W50 for the last 600 kms as I could not source Motul.Originally posted by ankur2smart View PostAre you seriously comparing Ignitor-Zeet ki Chingari (No offence to anyone

I have heard a lot of duplicate products of CastrolOriginally posted by avi_nash94 View PostI am not comparing NS with Ignitor but the problem is my bike giving a lot of problems and to add to that insult the SVC is not able to identify my problems. beware of that.
Anyways BAJAJ svc are horrible. Your best take would be to contact other Kolkatta Ns riders & before that shoot a mail to customercareBeing best is not about beating everyone. It's about how much you learn from others and make yourself even better

I just bought two cans of those!!!Originally posted by sayank10 View Postpour in motul 3100 gold. costs 310 rs per litre. i am at 6ooo km,have been using that. now i will switch to 5100 .
one thing is for sure that the bajaj oil is crappy as hell!!! it promises to run 10K kms, but I can see from the engine window as well as feel that oil has already lost it's purpose. And i am just 1500 kms On ODO! the oil as changed at 1st srvc at 450 kms.
Are u Sure that the castrol oil is a genuine one, and is it recommended for bikes??Originally posted by avi_nash94 View PostMy gear too makes a clattering sound and does not feel smooth and the bike does not tend to change direction easily..sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

Hai to Everybody
Hi to everybody,
I am Santhosh From Malappuram, Kerala.
This is my first post in this forum.
I am not a techie in any aspect of bike racing or riding
I had been used Unicorn for last 8 years(replaced with new one after 5 years). It was a wonderful experience, which I couldn't forget
Due to its braking, carburetor & head complaints I was changed my mind and desired to purchase Pulsar 180.
and I visited KVR Bajaj which is 50 m far from my office; from there the "twist" started.
From there I got a test ride of 200ns and I make all possible riding conditions during test drive.
Then I changed my mind ones more & purchased 200ns yesterday
Again - after 8 years- I am become part of Bajaj family
My first bike was Caliber.
My 2nd day of driving experiences:
Smooth but lengthy gears
I have to put some cotton in my ears while riding
Sooooooo noicy
Front shock absorber is leaking
Chain sound is double than engine sound
Very bad suspension
& vibration .... I know. its Bajaj. So I have no complaints
I am in running in period, So it is just like I am riding a "LUNA"
I have only 30-40 KM/day usage, I don't know how many days to take over 2000 KMs
I ordered a main stand for me, which is not readily available @ our dealer
I will update my future experiences here
Bye for now Good Night (to all Indians
)

@ankur and shibadip: AFAIK the Castrol I've bought is genuine because the shop's owner is a very old friend of my father and has never duped us till now.And yes its a bike's oil Castrol Activ Extra 4T. Initially when I had poured it it was quite smooth but now the engine sounds like full of sand particles, like a kirr-kirr kinda sound and even becomes worse as the engine warms up.

Well dude he may not be fooling you but supplier may be fooling that shop wala. What I am trying to say that Castrol's products are no more trust worthyOriginally posted by avi_nash94 View Post@ankur and shibadip: AFAIK the Castrol I've bought is genuine because the shop's owner is a very old friend of my father and has never duped us till now.And yes its a bike's oil Castrol Activ Extra 4T. Try contacting some exp member in xbhp. I am sure he will help you out with a good SVC as their only your problems will be removed.Being best is not about beating everyone. It's about how much you learn from others and make yourself even better

Well, as Ankur has aid it's not abt whether the shopkeeper has duped you.. It's very hard to differentiate between a original one and a fake one of castrol..Originally posted by avi_nash94 View Post@ankur and shibadip: AFAIK the Castrol I've bought is genuine because the shop's owner is a very old friend of my father and has never duped us till now.And yes its a bike's oil Castrol Activ Extra 4T. I do a simple thing of checking the quality of engine oil.. Turn ur bike as Such the right portion of the bike faces the sun.. Now try seeing the colour of the oil from the small window of the engine!! If the Colour of the oil Has turned Black/Blackish then u must change the oil.
Motul is widely available here in kolkata.. If buying Motul is not feaseable, then shift to some good oil of Shell, or Moto ELF..sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

Fantastic! Foolproof method!! Only an experienced rider knows this trick. How many kms have you ridden on motorcycles?Originally posted by Shibadip View PostI do a simple thing of checking the quality of engine oil.. most of the fully synthetic oil, turn black or brown very quickly but retains its viscosity for very long..as per my experience..so what doOriginally posted by Shibadip View PostWell, as Ankur has aid it's not abt whether the shopkeeper has duped you.. Bro AFAIK, any oil, after a few weeks' (or a few hundred kms) use will turn blackish, even though it's good enough to go for thousands more. But I don't see how it's good to differentiate between a good oil and a fake. Coz even if you later find out that it's fake, it's a waste of the money you paid to buy the oil in the first place.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostI do a simple thing of checking the quality of engine oil.. Personal opinion, go for the best, rather than ending up with buyer's remorse.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

Same is my doubtOriginally posted by smrutisourav View Postmost of the fully synthetic oil, turn black or brown very quickly but retains its viscosity for very long..as per my experience..so what do
What I feel one can even check the validity by the smell of it. A good condition oil will not smell bad

Feasibility is not a problem for me but the main problem is the lack of time as my exams are only a few weeks away.Once my exams are over I will be coming to Kolkata to buy a good helmet at that time will get myself 300v straight off, at least it will last for 5k kms because a rough engine is very irritating and totally spoils the riding experience.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostWell, as Ankur has aid it's not abt whether the shopkeeper has duped you..
