Nope....I used Motul 3100 (semi synthetic). The one you mentioned is a full synthetic.

Must've heard from Shiba. You can ride mine anytime. Yes I remember you told me about this g2g (Read it on K-bikers fb page too). I'll be in Mayapur for the weekend because I'm officially unemployed/no studies for the next 3 months So thought of starting the holiday season with this.

Yep we were 5 NS from Naked Wolves Bengaluru. The ride was fun !! We noticed you guys and were sure that you will be from xbhp, as you were all geared up and riding in a single file.

We rode up saw the view point, clicked some pics, saw the mini zoo and the maha vriksha (153 years old tree) and rode back in the evening.
ATGATT! There are many wonderful riders/drivers out there who would intrude in your riding space without any notice. Be prepared. Stay Safe.

      • Hi all,

posting after long time. Have done 4300 km on ODO with my NS.

Just wanted to ask about the message flashing on the home of xBHP. xBHP, is it gonna be shut down after 12th dec?? I got a mail too saying the same.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

I too had this question in my mind because thats what is being portrayed, but I dont think so. May be the a revamping the whole Xbhp. In October when the upgraded the vbulletin, the mods had mentioned that they would be improving rather presenting a new Xbhp. So I guess the mean to bid adieu to the old Xbhp and will be welcoming a new thing.

Hope what you're saying is true. I wouldn't want xbhp to close, not when I'm still an amateur!

                    • People have been talking about using rubber fittings to reduce vibrations in 200NS here. Can anyone elaborate on what type of rubber fittings would be good for this purpose?? I mean size/type specifications, where to buy from etc would be helpful. I am gonna go for 2nd service soon, and would like this thing be done that time. I am fed up of the vibrations and the rattling sounds it make. (Funny I was thinking of naming my bike Red Rattler...LOL)

PS: I have tried to get the answer on whether Bajaj is gonna fit rubber things to reduce vibs, and i haven't got any reply from CC. One more mail un-answered. For all i heard about best CC, I am pretty unlucky that i never got a single answer to any of my mails (total 4 i think). May be the queries got under their skins and they don't like it...LOL

note:- make the downshifts fast all in less than a second... keep practicing and all will be good...
as for the gear getting stuck, its typical bajaj...leave the clutch then again try shifting... if it still happens, give part throttle and shift... this gear shifting issue is bugging me big time... when ever i do a drag, i have mis shifts each and every time... feels like kicking the gearbox... and about the running in, there is no hard and fast rule about run-in revs... ride as you like, exploit higher rpms and have fun.... the only thing you should avoid during runin is redlining... mileage wont drop... rest assured.. it has nothing to do with mileage... even after so much ripping i get 40+ when riding sensibly...and 35 with hardcore ripping with a very rich mix... mileage is all about riding style, quality of fuel, tyre pressure and environment...
                          Happy Riding!!!!
Yes, you explain it very well.
Done 1337km & by now I've understood what to do & what not to do when riding. I'm still running Bajaj engine oil but my gears hardly ever get stuck now. Just have to know proper way of shifting etc.
I plan to switch to Motul 3100 soon at 2000km perhaps.... but I have a question. How & where exactly am I supposed to get it my oil changed ? Bajaj SVC guys have their own opinions & I'm sure they will strictly suggest that I get the oil changed at next service only which comes at 4500-5000km.. even that Bajaj genuine oil only.
also how to fix the stiff ride quality ? tire pressure hmm ?

                            • Nice to see XBHP updated n back

Finished my second service and upgraded to Motul 7100
Now My beast is like a Charm.
                              No vibration nothing
had got the vibration issue @ 6K rpm onwards before but now i see negligible vibration between 80-85 nothing apart from it
Still have some vibrations(Noise) coming from the Tail part just after u leave the throttle, Which we tried to reduce but in vain.
                              Any ideas on this guys

PS: we even tried with applying the double sided tapes but of no use

                              • I have this doubt, my bike will be arriving soon and I was curious weather the run-in should be done slowly inside the city or could I finish the run-in over a few weeks with long 250 kms trips on week-ends? Will taking long trips on a new bike harm it or the engine in anyway?
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.
