Guys, just to be clear, rotating the AFR screw clockwise will make it lean and anticlockwise will make it rich . Am I correct or is ti the other way round.

yeah...its the acrylic paint used by kids...and yeah the colour would fade away in case of a splash...fingers crossed

Today, changed the fork cups set. while the mechanic was installing the new set, I observed that the balls were embedded in a plastic ring, which looked messed up(which is why I think my bike was still going a little left when i take off the hands). While installing the new ones, the mechanic removed the balls from the plastic ring and put only the balls. Now after riding for about 70km, the bike does not at all sway to the left.

Sorry, it is the coneset which contains the cups and balls

I changed it because it was making slight noise when going over speed breakers and potholes. As I also wanted to change the fork oil, I thought why not change the cone set as well since I travel in very bad roads.

It cost me 650 for fork oil and cone set excluding labour.

Going to remove the leg guard and sari guard. Does it make any difference. Want to make my naked red bull look more naked.

Well sari guard is fine (I don't even see the use on these type of bikes) but leg guard is required for both your steed and you. It does protect the bike.

Like Vivek said, removing the leg guards is a strict NO... Those guards takes all the hit when your bike falls (touch wood this doesn't happen) but better to be safe na... If you remove the guards and for some God forsaken reason ur bike falls your tank, handlebards and uR LEGS are gonna take a serious hit..

Now the sari guard - can be removed ... but I find only one use of it and that is to hook up bungee cords

I used Oil paint. The reason being it wont wash away in case of a splash and stay for a longer time than acrylic paint. I bought a can of oil paint from the local shop and applied it with a flat headed brush.

Guys, one query. Is there a faired version coming? do I need to delay the purchase? Planning to buy soon. Probably in December or Jan.

Buddy,faired version not coming any time soon,thats for sure.After 2013 maybe.

I will keep that in mind and WON'T remove the leg guard. But the sari guard I'm going to remove as it is of no use for me.

Can we use permanent marker (red, as i have red NS) on tyres?

AFAIk, Bajaj has dropped the plan of a faired version of the 200 NS.

Yesterday I was carrying some heavy stuff over the tank, and there are some sand scratches on the tank at 2 places, tried using wax,polish, etc., didn't help

Should I try some scratch removers? Which one is recommended guys?And how should I apply it?
