    • Filled nitrogen in my tyres though I know it does not make much of a difference. 2300 kms on odo. Bike feels good apart from a light tappet noise. The end of "P" in the pulsar logo on tank is missing and a small part of vinyl on the front mud guard is torn. Over all happy bike and happy me..
One query... Is motomax bike dashboard and vinyl polish abrasive? Is it good to use it?
Riding is not about destinations, it's about journeys.

No performance increment...but provides a better protection for Tubeless tyres in case of a puncture...and less visits for air refill.
Costs around 100 bucks for both the tyres.

Going to shoot mail to BAL.
It is the problem with the disc plate and not pads.

its a very low frequency smooth kind of vibration and engine noise.... Not that the noise is annoying.... Its the noise of the engine running... But it was not there earlier. At 55kmph at 6th gear my engine was so silent that i couldnot hear or feel anything.... Btw the exhaust make a flat bassy low frequency muted humm like a multicylinder when the afr is quite rich and i just love it.... People turn to find the source of the sound..gga

                      • Nitrogen reduces the running temperature of the tyre. The moisture content of nitrogen leads to a cooler running tyre, which is advantageous when the car or bike is operating at its maximum load and speed capacity.
                      • Nitrogen in tyres improves the ride quality. That gas is very slightly lighter than air and thus, benefits the tires in terms of un-sprung weight.
                      • It is assumed that Nitrogen increases tyre life. It reduces the operating temperature during times of load and speed and thus, enhances the life of a tyre.
                      • It is believed that nitrogen keeps tyre pressures more constant. The gas is assumed to provide more stable pressure range in connection to the tyre temperature. However, again, the factor is applicable in times of heavy load/high-speed conditions.
                      • Tyres are susceptible to loss of pressure as a result of being porous in nature. Due to its chemical structure, Nitrogen leak out slowly as compared to compressed air. Therefore, it slows the rate of pressure loss.
                      • Oxygen reacts with the tyre and rim materials causing oxidation or the rust formation in the metal parts. Nitrogen, being an inert gas, does not react with the tyre and rim materials."

                      This is what people say.
IMO It doesn't make much of a difference as normal air consists of more than 75% nitrogen. Did it just coz I found a specialist shop and my tyre pressure was low. Cost 40 INR

Gets stuck often between 3rd and 4th gear and 5th and sixth gears (Stuck means, it goes into neutralish bike doesn't have the effect even is accelerating). Engine oil seems good enough to take on 2-3k kms more of abuse.

I am getting around 40 kmpl these days and sometimes more. I ride 99% of the time on highways only and at 75~90kmph speeds 50% of the time and rest I rip it above 120. CO% is around 3+.

At 6th gear, it feels the bike is knocking at 6k RPM till 7k RPM. Beyond which I dint check as of yet. I think it might be a problem due to the gone sprocket and chain. Experts, please guide me. Emergency here! Have very limited time left for the SS. Cant go in for SS with this situation. Need this fixed sooner!
Help Please. SVC unable to help. Says normal. I dont get how knocking at 6k RPM on 6th gear is anyway near NORMAL!!

I think it is better you visit another SVC which has a better reputation. If all else fail, during your SS refuse to sign the customer satisfaction until the issue is fixed.

I am certain my reply will sound weird but I had the same problem last week. The engine had become harsh and noisy but on the last Saturday, I gave her a through bath and the engine was back to normal. I might sound a lunatic with this post but hey, it worked great for me!!

my bike was washed recently too... its gets a wash every week... maybe its because of the fuel... but i loved the earlier silent nature of my bike with only a muted humm....

One probable issue could be loose bolts deep within the bike and just in the vicinity of the engine. The description of the sound that you just gave me is the exact same thing that I faced about a month back. The mechanic I went to just opened up the side panels and the tank, located some bolt near the engine, tightened it and then my ride sounded so so good, again just like you said - the silent awesome humm. Before the treatment, I was so damn sure it was engine sound but it turned out it wasn't. Merely resonance. I might be wrong about your bike for I haven't heard it, trying to help that's all
