  • Re: Pulsar 200 NS - Right footpeg position

The right footpeg seems to be positioned in such as way that the brake is slightly pressed during normal position.. I can feel a small spurt when I lift the foot... Is this normal? Checked with service center they said the pegs cant be adjusted..

Any suggestions/inputs will be appreciated.. :-)

    Thanks!!

I'm also not sure about the Fuel Efficiency of my bike. Whenever I start it it shows in reserve at first but after 200m or so the yellow light of reserve go off. Anyone with the same problem??

The foot pegs can't be adjusted...but you can get the brake lever to a bit lower position. Ask the svc guy to lower it to a position you're comfortable with.

                    • Guys i need to top up my coolant.. Is there a DIY for it, or is it fully necessary that i take it to the svc??
I'm a DIY kind of person so would be very grateful if anyone could please tell me the steps to top-up the coolant by myself.

                      • So I went on a top speed run on the ECR(chennai)at early hours.

Did 136kmph(5th gear / ~10.5k rpm) couple of times.

I thought I had maxed the bike out but later while coming back the bike did 132(10kRpm) in the 5th gear, only then I realized that I forgot that there was a 6th gear totally(must have forgotten while riding intense). of the year moment for me :|

Tank vibes exists at some rpm ranges even above 6, need to get that checked.

                        • Hi friends,
Yesterday, I came across a very disappointing situation. My bike couldn't do a slope with a pillion. It was quite a steep slope with a right angle turn near the top and I saw a few lower cc bikes climb just before me. I felt the bike losing torque and the tick tick sound became very loud. My friend had to disembark and walk all the way up.
And have noticed that he tick tick has become more evident these days.

I installed Roots Windtone. Did all the wiring and fixing by myself. No changes made in stock wiring. It wasn't so difficult. The stock horn was a minor issue. But changing it made a huge difference.
Your bike is a part of you....

                              • Okay need some help guys.
                                1. I am currently 1050 on the ODO and I changed oil during first service (550kms). The SVC suggested Motul 3100 and I went with it. The question is should I be changing it now or should I run through the oil life (I am asking because I read somewhere that changing oil after 1000kms is a good choice).

                                2. I am feeling my NS is little less on power in lower rpm's (2k-3k). It is normal at anything above 3k. Is this common or am I doing anything wrong? I normal ride at 50kmph and a few short bursts of 70-80kmph.
