I don't have a Printer!!!Originally posted by muztariq View PostInstall any pdf printer and print pdf for yourself. Acrobat professional is a heavy pdf printer which is available as torrent downloads. Searching some free ones wont be a difficult task.
And to print so many pages would be a BIG headache!!!

thanx man... And yep you are right...thats revz -s on the rear and zapper fx on front...Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View PostThose are some killer pics at a killer spot bro! From those angles, the NS looks really good. Especially in the first one where the revz-s is clearly seen (I hope I'm right
). Question 1: Do you face a slightly elevated level of tappet noise after a long ride? 2: Is that 220's tank pad? 3: How was the overall experience with the NS? I was thinking of the same explanation but too many articles on the internet had me confused! Thought I'd ask - How are the vibes on the handlebars above 8k? Did they come back or anything? And something funny happened today. Had a few drags on empty roads with a few friends. Of course the NS got better off the 220, ZMR and R15 but not the duke! Coming back to the point, after the good exercise, I shut off my vehicle after idling for a minute and found thick fumes BELLOWING out of the left side of the engine. I almost screamed, wondering wtf happened to my baby! Bent down and heaved a sigh of relief! What had actually happened was that a week back I had lubed the chain with engine oil and drops of that had spluttered onto the exhaust tube just below the engine. That was evaporating off the red hot tube and the smell which I had posted here before was more potent. Seriously, what a relief! But I have to admit I had the shock of my life and my friends were laughing their socks off!
yes there is a slightly more noise from the tappet if i maintain high speeds...but if i maintain 70 on highway there is not much difference... I can barely feel the engine running....its so damn smooth... And yes thats the 220 tank pad...costed 86 bucks...
overall experience was between excellent and good...engine and all other mechanicals being excellent... Only complains are poor high speed stability, wind blast and it gets totally shaky once a truck or bus passes from the opposite direction at high speed, poor handling on broken surface and offroad sections...tends to jump a lot... It badly needs a quarter fairing.... Other than these its simply awesum.. @mayank: removed for posing for the pics... It was in my bag...

even DP and JD series are also for 200 NSOriginally posted by smrutisourav View PostGreat Work, Anyway JL series belongs pulsar 200ns.. checked out now...I found parts are indeed cheap
thanks for correcting me, its Hugger.Originally posted by mayank.travadi View Postthats hugger right? or hunger?
i'm making a google spread sheet for 200NS so we can all use it incase some accident happens
could you explain bracket rear blinker and lamp tail assembly(is it the rear brake light assembly?)
and seat cowl is the whole plastic tail section right?
and each part mentioned is with sales tax or without?
i suppose without...
Lamp tail assembly : yes it is brake light assebly,
bracket rear blinker: Actually it should be mudguard (rear hugger) they misstyped i guess.
Tube rear hugger is the metal rod which holds the rear hugger.
Seat cowl is the back tail section without the Decal(rs11.00*2 extra for that
)
cover_1 and cover_2 huggers are the small parts in the tube rear hugger (which was not there in my bike when i purchased
)

If the front disc noise is intermittent ie. squeaking like an old fan, it might be the symptom of a warped disc. Go to the asc, get the job card written as front disc plate checkup, and disc pad checkup.Originally posted by santo View PostHello guys.....
After a Long time i am here again (actually busy with my ride)
first servicing done @ 534kms on ODO and the experience was not so good.
The service center guys did not allowed to change the engine oil to any other brand since BAL mastered the engine oil industry ahed of all internationally proven brands like motul and come with the worst DTSi 1000 oil .
There was separate section( i didn't understand this by hanging one board saying "200NS" how it is special section but still) for the bike and most interesting part is the bike was not serviced @ that place @ all.
The supervisor gave me all crap reasons to my questions such as tappet noise and need to adjust CO2 levels like things.
The Mechanics working @ place seems to be guys around age of 18-19 (i home they were above 18) and dose not seems to have popper knowledge of the things to be carried out in first servicing even a oil filter is changed after i insisted.
I had one issue of front disk break noise which they failed to solve even till this date after going there for three times now.
And one thing i noticed that they lubricated my chain with normal oil and when i asked they tried to give same shit reasons.(the main reason they didn't had lube and cleaner) i dont know this will affect my chain in long term or not.
Now 1020kms on ODO
Till now the no major issue with bike, maintaining the run-in period quite patiently.
Still some false neutrals are there and wibes which u can be ignored.
Happy with the till now performance of the bike.
If not rectified, the problem would be the bike becoming shaky at the time of braking, which is dangerous.
Also one of the symptoms I have experienced is nor the sound or the shaking while braking is present when the disc is cold or the bike is just taken out, but starts when it has run for few km and when the disc warms up during riding.
If the problem is not rectified, shoot a mail regarding the same to bajaj.BreaklessBiker

I remember sometime back someone had got a reply from Bajaj that since the bike is a 4valve the power outcome will more after 7k rpm . Not sure how true this is . :POriginally posted by Shibadip View PostThis is a wild guess from me, and I myself have Doubts on my guess (but I can't find any other feasible solution.)
MAy be, At >7k, the third Spark plug gets activated, and there by making better combustion, and adding more power!!!sigpic < --BENGALURU-- >

Well, the stock tyres (new ones) are pretty slippery on sand and water. Since you'll be riding in the not-so-good roads, you can switch to a softer compound tyre, like the revz-s. Should go pretty easy on your wallet too. Only problem is, any softer compound tyre is more puncture prone and will wear out comparatively faster. Coming back to the stock tyres, once they've run a few thousand kilometers, they provide a better grip. So keeping these factors in your mind, make your pick. And do take suggestions from a few more people.Originally posted by daulasa200 View PostI'll be driving my 200ns at rural areas and road condition are not that good. so could anyone suggest me any dual purpose tyres?Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

and u didnt change the rear no. plate holder right??
nd the rear brake light assembly involves all the electricals wiring and bulbs?
just asking for knowledge so if in case happen to get in such an incident i'll know what to do...
hope questions not bugging you..i'll edit that hugger thing(its the rear hugger covering the monoshock or the secondary hugger with pulsar written on it? )...
parts are indeed not so costly...but...i dont know how they fare against other companies...i checked the rubber gromet and washer part nos. in dat pdf and there are no such parts..even an existing part had a different name...
PS if that bracket rear blinker is rear hugger then what is assembly hugger rear?
former costs 182 and later costs 168Last edited by mayank.travadi; 12-01-2012, 11:07 AM.Pulsar 200NS parts list
