  • @govind.one : Every company has its own policy for free services. In the end the customer has to pay price for free service as company calculates cost of Free service while deciding the price of product itself. I guess no one in this world would give anything for free, it is always calculated in the price. Companies are here to make profits bro. And i guess if they would have given 3 more free services than the price of P200NS would be higher by 1000 or so.
@chintan99: thank you bro .. I guess paying to service P200NS one wouldn`t mind.. reading the reviews and experiences I read so far.. everyone would look to keep her in her best form..!
any views on oil change after 100kms?

Oh yes I remember you mentioning about it earlier in this thread.
Great!!! If the tank cover does not touch the ground I guess the crash guard is perfectly designed just to fulfill the need and not hamper the looks... Nice

      • Why does everyone refer bikes as 'she', 'her' etc..I see them as a male thing and in case of PULSAR its a crime to call it as a 'she'

          1) after first servicing/500 kms.. I rode this bike till 75km/h.. It is more smoother and it actually became more responsive.. "more" in every positive sense.. in every gear.. till 5k RPM (I have not crossed it yet) HOW?? I don't know! I actually followed what Payeng has mentioned in his RUN-IN related Blog.. THANKS PAYENG!!

          Most welcome bro

I could sense the winds of change (for the better) in Bajaj products right from the XCD 135, Pulsar 135 and the current Discover (100/125/150) range of bikes. The engines on these bikes feel much better built than the ones when Bajaj was starting to learn to make bikes on their own.

The Pulsar 200NS is a BIG LEAP for Bajaj and Indian manufacturing in general. The Pulsar 200NS can stand proudly with any competition in any part of the world. The attention to details, the quality levels, the engine smoothness and the stability of the chassis is to be experienced to be appreciated the HUGE LEAP that Bajaj has made.

People who blindly bad mouth Bajaj products shoud take a ride of the Pulsar 200NS.

Do you mean to say that NS owners are just posting and not riding? Gimme your address I will ride to your place and kill you... Just kidding bro... please dont take it seriously...

This is one big reason why I prefer naked bikes over the fully faired ones for city rides... As these days we have insane traffic in Bangalore...

Same here... My bike also fell once while my friend was riding it. In my case the brake lever had bend a bit, rest all was fine.
I guess apart from the crash guard, the handle bar and the foot pegs also save the bike in case of a fall.

            • During 1st service they do some setting which affects the pick up and responsiveness.

Bajaj has clearly mentioned use both Brakes and don't apply single brake which would avoid bike skiddding.

what had happened with my CBZ.. that whenever I used to ride it on 45 km/H speed it was smooth rest all RPM and Speed it was some what rough.. but with this bike i did what payeng has mentioned and it is smooth through out the RPM/Speed Range.

This is what we always used to do when riding our RX-100 with drum brakes. But these days front disc brake is what most people use and advise.

What about feel of driving a NINJA ? A fast bike isn't about who gets there first, it is all about feel, pleasure of riding.

I dont want to/I dont have knowledge to criticise Ninja.. I am just saying that we can not/should not look at Affordability or Affordable and Practical parts as a Problem of the Product.
